anime that makes you feel human

I am looking for any and all animes and/or movies that really tear you up inside.

Eureka Seven
Full Metal Alchemist
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Seven Pounds
Trigun

There are no bad suggestions, although I should mention I have already watched all of Naruto. If you still like it that much you still want to list it again, go ahead exorcise your free will.

So please tell me which animes made you angry, (and not because of fillers), sad, happy, or even if it made you cry. Crying for the right reasons is probably the most human thing a person can do and it makes you feel incredible inside.

Also if you could say why, without spoiling the ending or story, you think it is good that would be amazing.

School Days: It was about the fourth anime I ever watched but I never thought I could hate a fictional character on the level that I did Mokoto.

Slimy rat bastard.

Clannad within 9 episodes made me cry harder than any other anime. I cried like a damn baby.

I thought it sounded strange.. Make you feel human generally implies you usually don't feel that way, right? Jokes aside, here are some very good suggestions:

Clannad
Clannad After Story
Da Capo II Second Season
Macross Frontier

...Not sure about NANA, haven't started the series yet. Its 47-episodes, a little bit long but it is a very good series, of course. Unfortunately, I currently don't have the time to watch it. I will most likely finish the series by the end of summer.

Clannad
Clannad After Story

The last time I cried/came close to doing so was when I was twelve. However, while watching Clannad and the sequel series, there were times when I came close. Clannad has its share of heartwarming moments that produce tears of joy and then times where it rips your heart out and runs it over with a tank. The fragility of life and the relationships between characters are really displayed at its finest in the series.

Zegapain - this is the first anime that comes to mind. Virtual and real world, human existence, what does it meant to be alive.... you'll find so many human qualities and questions in this anime! But just beware of the slow pace. The story kind of picks up from ep 4, but more revelations are spread throughout the series.

Most recently I cried during episode seven of Kemono no Souja Erin. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more crying in the weeks ahead.

Your list looks almost like my top anime list. So I highly suggest you take my word for it and watch Berserk. There are some spine chilling scenes in that one.

Welcome to the NHK
