Funny ep this week
- Invisible thief Happy! - Invisible naked Lucy striking poses in public. - Everyone painting her face - Erza playing grown-up again, reminds me of the time travel episode. - Lucy crying buckets, literally xD |

So I just finished the Daphne arc and I gotta say I liked it a lot ^_^
I was wondering a lot why Gray teamed up with her and it had me in suspense. Though i don't get why he couldn't just tell everyone before hand and they come up with a plan. I found this arc more emotional than some others in a good way. I felt like Daphne was truly evil sometimes, then other times i felt like she was just a hurting person. Maybe she was just a mix. Juvia and Gray's Unison Raid is one of the coolest in the series. Want to see more of those kind hopefully. I like Gajeel's idea to have Lucy use Sagittarius as a conduit for everyone's power to send to Natsu. I've always liked that idea and don't know why it's not used more often in here. Hopefully we can see it more later on. The whole arc felt like a little movie to me, especially since it was only 4 episodes and took place over 1 day only. I really really... wonder what "poses" Lucy did while she was invisible... (cause the last one she did... has a "AHHHH <3"... Lucy is so perverted at times.... LOL)
Black Hair Lucy was cute... ~By Mirajane And that Potion... might actually be the strongest magic there is... Think about it, if used on the "Black Dragon"... the Black Dragon would just.... disappear (no need to fight it...) - tho not sure if you're "existence disappeared" can you still touch physical objects... LOL @ Natsu... he only remembered due to "Habit", FUN. I am actually fond of this filler arc(s) - since there's more than 1 all stuffed into this arc. And they're all really really fun arcs (except for some weird ones... LOL) |

Lol Lobster.
Anywho, flawless start to a flawless arc. Though i wanted to see more action. I wonder why Lucy's magic wasn't working. I'm calling it now, Michelle is some spirit/robot/cockblocker person. Really interested to see where this arc goes. Makes me wonder how they are going to get the whole story across in the next 8 episodes (3 have aired already, and FT openings usually last around 13 episodes). Unless they plan on stretching it out a bit longer. My guess, and it happened with the Daphne/Edolas arc, is that the filler arc might go one for more than 10 episodes and spill into the next arc's opening and ending themes. Seeing how this arc has truly started, i wouldn't really mind tbh. I found this opening more mature than other story starts in Fairy Tail, and I really want to know what happens next. |

Couple of notes:
I originally spelled her name "Robstar", just because I thought spelling it normally as "Lobster" was just silly... But then I remembered Sugar Boy etc, and how Fairy Tail has people with ridiculous sounding english names all the time, so I just spelled it the way it would normally be, Lobster. A Japanese person watching the show would definitely think of "Lobster" when they hear her name. And second: Why do people seem to think the object is shaped like a key? (Because the name of the arc is Key to the Starry Sky?) I thought the ending animation pretty much shows that it's a hand of a clock (probably needs to be paired up with a minute or hour hand to activated something...)

...and who here was worried about the fillers being bad...?
It's the quick stand-alone eps that are the problem apparently... Anyway, like others have said, it's a great start. Doesn't feel out of phase from the normal tone of the series at all - except that we all know that it's a filler. Asuka-chan riding on Makarov...so cute.

Not too much happened, a bit less than what I was hoping for an episode that is the start of an arc. Although the next episode doesn't look like it is really continuing the arc, so I wonder what their plan is.
Anyway, transgender bandit group is a new one. Well, can't think of the word off-hand for people who feel they are of the opposite gender, heh. But the "key" and Michelle are sufficiently mysterious. I still call it a key, because I think it might wind up a clock or something. The imagery in the OP and ED makes me think clock, as well as the dream warning at the start that talked about time. Perhaps a key to a doomsday clock? That might be why Makarov felt Lucy shouldn't get involved in it; he might have seen enough to figure out it has something to do with a doomsday scenario. Anyway, I'm guessing Lucy leaves with Michelle to find Levy, in the hopes the "words" can be translated. And why did Lucy's magic whip not work? It sounded like the whip itself was out of magic power. The ED imagery almost suggested the spirit world, and that's where the whip comes from. And why were churches being destroyed? I don't think we've seen much of the religion in this world to formulate any particular reason. Unless, given the hint in the episode, the destruction of churches is a bit of a cover for killing a particular person inside each church. And in that line of thought, Michelle might be someone who was originally part of the church, and thus she'll be hunted down as well. |

Yukana!
I was expecting her to show up here but then I didn't expect her to show up in One Piece either. Loved Erza's plan, you knew it was doomed to fail when it relied on Lucy's sex appeal Pretty good set up to this arc, I really wonder where there going with this, it's the one of the good things about fillers, you don't know where things will go.

Lucy's distant relative Michelle appears.
The mystery thing in the suitcase looked interesting. Charla's reaction towards it was pretty serious. That Michelle is a total crybaby klutz. The joint mission to catch the bandits was ?!? Who knew the bandits would be more into guys ROFL
