In my opinion, she's juste bored because Rosalie is still in action.

The fact that we have to wait 3 months for the next OVA makes me wish that it was one storyline per episode.

Or Sunrise could have make the 4 OVAs into a full-length movie instead.

Akane was bound to another master who is Kazu (I believe its not where Akane from)

I think the ultimate black diamond was shattered into pieces, and somehow got "activated" when the meteor crashed with Arika's Sword of Akatsuki's power, and "materialize" black/shadow otomes... which somehow similiar to arika, nina, miyu, shizuru so far

The Ultimate Black Diamond reverted to Pure White Diamond at the end of the My-Otome series. Nagi was both shocked and surprised that the GEM on his ring appeared white instead of black.

Anyway, I wonder if the first shadowy figure is Meistar Arika, because she was the one that shatter the meteor. The reason she didn't turn to stone maybe because the Alien hadn't learn to assimulate an Otome yet.

BTW I just watch the sub and I realize something, Mashiro wanted to repeal minimum wage act in Windbloom, Oh wow what a manly man republican hehehhe. Of course being the great liberal, Arika was not please heheh. Incidentally, I think Natsuki didn't care for that decision too much (not like she side with the workers but thought it would only cause trouble), but Shizuru seemed to side with Mashiro ( if the sub was correct). Interesting....

Also, Mashiro is the kind of person who would sacrified a few to save the majority, whereas Arika would sacrified the majority to save a few....I smell trouble.

It became white and it cracked. It shouldn't be usable ever again.

The GEM became pure white once again but it only turned black because of its wielder, correct? It's probably not the shadow of the Harmonium nor of the Ultimate Black Diamond completely, but of the Otome still wallowing in the despair and disdain she felt against the people who caused the Twelve Kings War - Fumi herself. She's been in a coma-like state for two centuries, and now, the seals she placed on the Black Tech are about to be lifted. In her mind, things would still be as they were 200 years ago and her feelings haven't changed at all.
It may turn out to be that 'Dark Fumi' is an amaglamation of the Harmonium's power (seeing as Mikoto sensed 'Dark Fumi' in a similar way that she sensed the Harmonium's power being used in the TV series), and Fumi's desire to keep the status quo as it is.

Even if it was Fumi, it doesn't explain how Fumi came from a meteoroid from outer space. As far as I know, Fumi's corpse (assuming that she's dead) should be at Garderobe.

It's probable that she was the darker side of Fumi that helped turn the Pure White Daimond into the Ultimate Black Daimond and she was probably released into space when Arika defeated Nina's Harmonium robe. She then found her way back to Earl using a meteoroid as a way of hiding herself from the otome. I'm also willing to bet she has all the powers of the Harmonium as well as several others.

Poor Koshimizu Ami, she is searching Nina while watching OVA in the omake CD, saying "Where is Nina?"

here's my two cents about what i think of ep 1

ill start off by saying this episode was crazy. The producers didn't bother with flashbacks or any boring crap which would take up time, they simply went straight into arika using her Zwei outfit and kickin some meteor ass. hehe, which was great to see. As for meteor thing, like a guy before said its probably evil being dark being or something which takes has the ability to take over someone or atleast create a clone of them. It probbaly took over the spirit of arika's mum and fuma because both were already dead and it probably has some crazy ability to do so, it then took over miyu's body after turning her into rock which you sorta see falling from the sky after shizuru landing in the desert. Later on you sort of see Shizuru in a ghost form after she is revealed as been turned into a rock, and eventually the same happens to ms maria. I wouldn't be suprise that who dies can't be taken or is turned into a rock can be turned into a evil version otome thing. Nina may probably come back but i doubt she will do any real powerful transfermations, she might have a brand new spanking outfit.

finally i get the feeling that this story is going to be based on the ressurection of characters and how maybe at the end arika's mum, fumi and eristin will somewhat appear in the spirit form and have some relevences on the stories. The fans love erstin too much and they will most probably find a way to stick her back in.

p.s. poor Kazuya, still hasn't gotten any lovin from akane.. hehe oh well

Now that the three strongest combatants are removed and Arika having no master to approve her contract, the struggle would be uphill for them. Not to mention that the enemy is that strong it needs the combined power of two overpowered Otome to stop one of them.

I'm kinda speculating that this meteor came from Earth and brought some evil (maybe remnants of Searrs/Orphan/Obsidian Lord?).

We still have Nao as a wildcard and she should be a great help if she's not attempting to run away again Akira and Takumi might also want to help Mai and contract can still be established for Otome who have masters.

Now I want Tomoe to return so much...

to save Shizuru once again well I'm actually pretty scared thinking what she'll do to her oneesama in this state being turned to stone should be different from death so I expect more "intimate time" between them.

I hope the manga will turn up at some point so we can get a glimpse at where this story might be going. It might not be the path that the anime will take but still, at least we will have something to go by instead of waiting blindly every 2 months.

It's a Mai-HiME novel, not a Gundam thing, which starts from 2007 Spring in Novel Japan Magazine. Its stage is Fuuka Gakuen in Hokkaido, and the new main character's name is Maya or Mayo. Arika, Natsuki and Shizuru will also appear. I think it's a sequel or parallel world of Mai-HiME, not Mai-Otome.
