Singapore. The place where people love queues but never queue up to enter the MRT.

^^ Or the bus. Damn, they still do queue up on the Causeway, however. And watch how ah sohs fight at the sales in a department store. Makes the pre-Xmas rush in US seem minor.

Oh, I see... hey jacked the car to get to tokyo, not to go to comiket itself. That makes a lot more sense . Either way he's an insane jackass.

Ciao, even I read that wrongly, until I read the Japanese article. Basically he jacked the car to get to Tokyo, not Comiket. Comiket is only accessible via Yurikamome, Rinkai Line or ferry, if i'm not mistaken.

I queued for about an hour for donuts back when it was still a craze.

And that Hello Kitty promotion back in 2000. Oh, the silliness.

Where's that? Never heard of the "doughnut craze", I remember doughnuts being ordered via a printed list, where you mark what you want and you sit down to a cuppa first, and get your doughnuts in 3 mins. If you mean the crowds, I remember it being at the same time as the white coffee cafe craze.

EDIT: deducing purely from the Hello Kitty link, I take it to be Singapore. Many Singaporeans here, desho?

Yeah. We love food fads, queue up for food fads, then get tired of the food fads shortly after.

Yet never get sick of crossing that great white bridge collecting rubbish at its sides just to spend in the country up north.

Acting like that at 26 years of age, he must have been really spoiled when he was kid.

A kid in the body of a grow up, always a recipe for problem.
