I really enjoyed the first episode and so I took the liberty of translating it. Script can be found at:

Anyone who uses it, please credit me or whatnot, but I haven't done a second check over it since I did it. Though, most if not all of it should be good to go.

Wow Dragos. You really do translate for a lot of groups.

Saw chinese sub of episode 1. Liked it, Yuuchi is a lot better than Shinn from GSD (both had the same voice). The nurse was funny, but I can see how this can go into a drama tear hole.

My thoughts on the first episode. I definitely enjoyed it.

I just watched the promo, and I'm starting to get excited about this show. Yeah, it might not be the most creative premise in the world (Alright! Alright! It's blatantly cliche), but it still looks as though it might a be a fun anime to watch.

Can't wait to see the first fansubbed episode!

I agree with you, too. For once I hear an OP that's "simple" and perhaps "normal?" Certainly reminds me of artists such as John Mayer and Dave Matthews.

Nowadays I hear OP's like SnS' OP1 which are generally fast-paced with all sorts of techno and electronic sounds in them. And then there's Chemistry's OP4 for GSD...which is a nice sounding tune, but doesn't seem compatible with the Mecha backdrop. Yay for Hantsuki's OP.

Eh? Did AnimeU just release a sub of this show? The BT file is titled Hantsuki which I hazard a guess is an abbreviation of this show. Am d'loading this now to make sure.

Yep, AnimeU has released episode 01 subbed. I've downloaded and confirmed it.

I must say I like what I see so far. The pace was good and the story is interesting (sick patient lovu lovu ) Although there is some art inconsistancy, the show was good.

Some interesting tipbits. in the second scene of the ending. Yuuichi and Rika look like Shinn/Kira (Depend on you POV ) and Mayu. zomg

Spoiler for the second scene of the ED:

I apologize for the inconvenience. We'll tag the file with "Hanbun no Tsuki" in the future to prevent any mix-ups.

For those of you who enjoyed our release, thanks.

For those of you who enjoyed the song (AND the karaoke/lyrics), especially the ending, my brother appreciates it. Don't like singing in Japanese? Sing in English. You can, and you won't miss a beat.

^^Not a big matter for the lable, just I'm sure there a quite a number of people who would be clueless on the abbreviation [myself included ]

No wonder there was no Magikano this week, you guys were working on this show. Good choice though since it appears no one else is working on Hantsuki and MK.

Always do enjoy your releases AnimeU. Keep up the good work with Magikano and Hantsuki! Nice to see you guys are subbing a seemingly serious anime and a 'brainless' (not necessarily 'bad' mind you) anime to counteract it.

After watching the OP sequence countless times, there's just so many symbolism in it. I mean with the dried leaf and everything. It's almost a huge spoiler in itself.

I just watched the first episode, thanks to AnimeU. This was probably the anime I was most looking forward to this season. The OP and ED themes are beautiful.

I'm looking forward to the next episode. Rika finds Yuuichi's porno stash...err...'inheritence'

Hey fellow Hong-Kong-ian. I'm also wishing for a really sad ending! After watching Shuffle, I've been checking out many sad and dramatic anime (only to find out it's not as dramatic as Shuffle). I can't believe I like that kind of genre. This looks promising though. And 6 episodes won't hurt. Why is it so short though?

Hey, just watched the first episode. Here's my first impressions + OP/ED.

Overall, this anime is really really good. The character designs are not all that (save for Rika, who makes up for everyone else), but the drama is what I'm interested in. There's evidence for both kinds of endings I think. Such as:
Spoiler:

I'll still watch it either way because I'm hooked.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora

Since i see no thread about this one i guess i'll begin one myself.
So far the anime has the full potential to be an hit, funny enough even if it seems to be diving towards the tragic story, and definately, definately romantic.
I feel i found a nice replacement for Suzuka ^_^

Too bad it'll be very short (6 episodes)... god, this progressive reduction of the average of TV series episodes is beginning to give me anxiety...

Here's the desc from AnimeNfo:
During the winter, Yuichi was hospitalized due to hepatitis. Randomly he would try to escape from the hospital but would get beat up by the nurse. One day, he happened to meet Rika, a girl of his age, in the next building. He was fascinated by her beauty, but she was very selfish girl. Although she led him by the nose, he began to be attracted by her. However, when Rika told him about her illness, he knew why she acted so selfish; she didn't have long to live.

and the Homepage:
http://www.hantsuki.com/

Actually the description is not completely precise, since Rika is not completely hopeless, she's gonna have a surgery with very low chance of survival, but there is still hope, even if....

Spoiler:

What do you think?

I'm glad I found this little gem. It's slated for only 6 episodes but I really like the love story so far. The plot feels like it's moving rather quickly, but that's to be expected in such a short series. I don't think it detracts from the overall quality though. This series does nothing except to give you a (hopefully) feel good story, but there are times when you just want that.

My thread is better since I included it's shortened name in my thread title.

Mods, pls merge and bring that thread over her TQ .

Will it be a good end or a bad end, only time wil tell. Thus far I'll rooting for the hapily ever after for the both of them, but drama usually has more curveballs than can be safely predicted.

Just watched the first episode... Must say that I'm enjoying it so far! Although, because of the quick pacing, one must take a few leaps and bounds with respect to character depth, I get a good, nostalgic "boy meets girl" feeling from this show. The first episode certainly placed emphasis on the focus on Rika and Yuuichi, and I hope it'll continue like that without any dilution.

I like the ending song, too, surprisingly, although at first it seemed kind of generic, but in retrospect it sets a fitting mood.

Edit: Opening song is also great. ;D

Spoiler for Episode 1 and ED animation:
