Just theorising about taboos... nothing to see here... move along!
But well.. Wolf was born 1980... so I doubt she'll show up in that game anyway. Could be possible. Kojima once said he plays with the idea for a Boss spin-off and showing how "The Joy" becomes the legendary mother of all special forces in WWII would be kinda nice. And seeing the nature of the Metal Gear series... that would mean a lot of Those Wacky Nazis for Bosses...

The version from MGS4 is sung by Lisbeth Scott for the MGS4 OST.

Check it out. There is an official Metal Gear site in which fans can post their own images.
http://artstudio.metalgearsolid.com Also about "Here's to You": It looks like the song was used when Kojima had the intention of killing Snake and Otacon at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4. The song was used in a documental named Sacco e Vanzetti. The story and song focus on two Italians named Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti who were executed in the United States during 1927 for a crime they never did. Sounds familiar, Saaco and Vanzetti are Solid Snake and Hal Emmerich turn themselves in for breaking the law, and subsequently they would be convicted and executed. In the end this did not happen but Kojima once again used "Here's to You" in the trailer from Ground Zeroes so could this mean that Big Boss and Master Miller are Sacco and Vanzeti? Or maybe Chico and another character? This could be one of the reasons Kojima is afraid of the game not being released. It's a really dark scenario. Just food for thought. If Ground Zeroes is still within the main MGS continuity, then Big Boss and Miller eventually return to the US and FOXHOUND, since MGS1 establishes Miller as FOXHOUND's chief survival instructor. He also finds love sometime along the way; IIRC Miller had a 15-year0old daughter whose fate is never conclusively mentioned. (I figure she was collateral damage when Liquid neutralised Miller.)

FYI, that's already happened before Peace Walker.
The DNA taken from Big Boss for the Les Enfant Terribles Project happened in 1972, and the Peace Walker Incident occurred in 1974. Ground Zeroes apparently takes place after Peace Walker. So unless they show it in flashback, getting to see Solid and Liquid being created is unlikely. However they're probably already in a childish state by the time of this game, so the chances of a cameo are there.

But back on topic: there's a new trailer out and I must say that it left me completely and utterly hyped for the game. I wish I could play it right now. Spoiler for Trailer/Peace Walker Spoilers:

I bet literally nobody was surprised by the revelation Phantom pain was MGS. Is this really on PS360? This looks so good. They say the game is open world too.
So the real subtitle of the game is the Phantom Pain then?

Just one thing: Everything shown thus far was the fox engine running on PC at what I'm assuming is the engine's full capabilities, ergo, what we've seen it the trailer is probably a better representation of the (inevitable) next-gen console releases. No doubt there's scaling for PS360, but don't expect that next-gen shiny coat of paint we've been seeing.

Phantom Pain is somewhat meaningful, given that we have an FPS view of an amputated hand with a prosthetic hook-claw. In the medical world, Phantom Pain is used to describe the feelings and sensations of pain...
... from a non-existent amputated limb. Looks interesting.
