Well, i am as optimistic as Kafuka for pretty much everything and even then, i still can't be optimistic about this.

Well, i didn't like the op... And the ed. And that sucks, cause i liked every other in the series. But i think the opening itself is nice, it's just the music that didn't got into me... Maybe later, since i'm going to watch this op a loooot, after all, it's the only thing of Zan i can see for now.

After listening to the OP and ED enough times, I am now cool with both of them. Also, a second ending single has been announced (on both the official website and various other sources) featuring Nozomu Itoshiki and the Zetsubou Girls. Be it far from Shaft to have one ending for their show.

Ugh, awful OP and ED sequences (songs in particular). Unlike the old ones, they don't reflect the mood and the style of the show at all. Hopefully that's not because the style of the show has changed.

Marionette didn't reflect the mood of SZS at all but it still worked (in fact, it got in your head and refused to get out)

I don't neccessarily think that the ED in particular needs to reflect the content - generally seems to be more of a gentle let-down from the overload of DESPAIR (Although the first season OP/ED combo was pretty fantastic in being related to the content matter).

Yeah, I guess the ED is not totally out of place. I just find it incredibly dull compared to all the others. The OP really bothers me though.

Yes, I know it doesn't have any actual basis, will never happen and they both have much more blatant pairings, but when has that stopped any shipping?
