Umineko music discussion (OP/ED, game soundtracks, dramaCDs etc.)

It doesn't go past the 1st twilight O_o Man that sucks. Well drama cds don't usually cover everything, but still. Ah well.

Final thoughts on every voice, at least from the Navigation CD:

Battler: Fits very well. As expected of Ono D.
Jessica: Marina is doing great here, just perfect.
George: It's just as I imagined his to be. Perfect.
Maria: It's still kinda awkward. But I like the "Uu-", and I guess it fits her new design.
Rudolph: Sounds okay. Nothing special.
Kyrie: I'm impressed! Very fitting of her.
Hideyoshi: Perfect.
Eva: Takano. I guess that's great, but eh.
Rosa: Sometimes she sounds perfect, other times she sounds too young.
Krauss: Okay too. A bit too Wakamoto-wannabe, but that's okay.
Natsuhi: Awesome. I love her voice.
Nanjo: It's fitting, and sounds great.
Genji: A bit too deep, but hey, I like it.
Gohda: Kinda weird, but I guess it fits.
Kinzo: BEST VOICE EVER
Kanon: Pretty good, too. I like Kobayashi Yuu overall, and I already imagined him with her voice while playing the game.
Kumawasa: Perfect.
Shannon: To my biggest surprise, I am -very- impressed by Kugimiya. Her voice is perfectly fitting- no signs of tsundeloli. She managed a very gentle, calm, comformed voice. I deserve a slap in the face for ever doubting her.

And damn, I want Yukari Tamura to narrate my life, too!

Glad to hear it!

And yeah, it stops there and goes to an extra track. On the plus side some of these scenes will inevitably be skipped in the anime, so it'll be nice to have them voiced regardless. I was looking forward to the episode 2 drama CD to hear certain new voices but doubt they'll make it in now

Ah finished.

Maria feels still completely off when I imagine the ingame Maria, but it fits the moe'd anime design. Uu isn't pulled off that well imo, but overall Hories voice goes well with the design.
Rosa sounds still to young imo. She sounds younger than Battler sometimes.
Takano, Takano! But it fits Eva so it will be a matter of time till I get used to it.

Very good: Battler (a bit old especially with the anime design, but the acting makes up for it), Jessica (ripped of my mind, completely how I imagined the voice when playing the game), Kyrie (didn't thought she would sound like that but fits very well ~), Shannon (who heard Kugyu in other roles than tsundere knew that she can pull that off), Kanon (usual Kobayashi boy voice, but fits well), Kumasawa and Genji are nice as well. Not to forget: KINZO. Rudolph sound nice as well.

The others do a good job as well and it's able to get used to them in a short amount of time imo.

They kept the game music, but they didn't sound like arrangements, guess they will appear in the anime then. Also maybe they have the zts piece of cake saved for the anime as well =D

I know I should just order the CD but my wallet is as empty as ever and the ordering would take much time and the anime would most likely be out at that time...so could someone please upload some really little clips of the characters voice. I'm especially interested Kugimiya/Shannon, Kobayashi/Kanon and Kinzo. I really wanna hear them

Kanon sounds pretty good.
Shannon sounds perfect, something told me that Kugimiya would be able to pull it off, she didn't prove the something wrong at all!! ^.^
