You have a point Jinto. There can be hard things in my bed that can cause sleepless nights
Well, I have 4 pillows, but then again, I have a double bed, so no, I don't have a cloud like bed ;( Maybe I should come and try your cloud out?

I have a small bed side table so I keep nothing under my pillow although I do have four stuffed animals on my bed and my cat Blackie, but I have to watch out for her cause she scares me sometimes because its all quiet then she jumps on my bed out of nowhere she almost poked out my eye a couple times doing that. Reading what other people have under their bed I feel kinda dull. All I have is a few old sewing pins to keep my sheet from coming off (again).
What will I do in the event of a Zombie out bread? Poke 'em till they die?

I've got some old training aid for playing golf near me, it's quite weighty and I think it'd do some damage if I swung it at someones head.
Other than that, there's a pile of boxes (cardboard) my figures were delivered in which I use as a side table with a copy of Edge I still need to read (first one I bought in ages), my phone for an alarm, my TV remote is on their too. |

It doesn't help either that when she lies down she takes up half the bed. It's so funny how each cat really does have their own personality. One cat I have will chew on plastic bags and keep me up, one will purr until I wake up and pet her, and one that I don't let in my room because he pees everywhere (wtf, learn to use a pan cat!) where was I...oh yeah, I don't keep anything under my mattress, but when I was living in "X" I kept a gas mask, and a backpack with basic food/survival equipment under my bed. I also used to sleep with a crow bar/piece of re-bar within arms reach, but it freaked out my room mate so now I just have a small can of pepper spray. The truth is though, I'm a pretty sound sleeper so any bad-guy worth his badness would be able to sneak up on me before I could grab it. I guess I have to rely on my attack cats! I also keep my cell phone close by. I try not to keep it near my head just in case all that stuff about harmful waves is true. As an added benefit, I also have to at least reach a bit in order to hit the snooze button.

I have a sniper bluet taped to my wall that someone gave me (No sniper rifle to go with it sadly). I also with a gun chart, a target I shot up with a Marlin Rifle, an ASCII chart, and Anime poster(s). I don't know if any of that counts since it's not under my pillow but most of it is in arms reach from a laying down position. I just don't know what good they would do me anyway...

Not exactly under my pillow but I do always keep them on my bed.
My Electric flyswatter & my cell phone! That's my golden combo... for killing mosquitos and waking up. Occasionally the cat decides to join me and other times I take a book/manga or my Nintendo DS to bed with me. ... |
