It may simply be adrift. Kurousagi has told us that the Little Garden was created. Some deific being may have simply gathered up a bunch of matter, formed it into this basic shape and left it floating in a relative void, with no way in or out beyond interdimensional teleportation.

It would not really be that surprising... this is essentially a casino writ superhuge. The idea of someone creating or devoting an entire world to gambling or resort getaways or such things is not even close to being new in fiction, after all. And there are plenty of fictional stories where godlike beings bring people to some isolated or artificial world to fight for its entertainment, so why not stretch that out to include more creative things than just fighting, and subcontract the "bring people there" part out a bit, let things run for a few centuries developing their own culture, and you have the Little Garden.

yeah I remember that, of course back in ep2 , they haven't yet told u the whole thing was the size of the sun seems to be some scaling issues though because at that size one shouldn't be able to see details like we do on that picture...for comparison the width of one those waterfalls would be several times the diameter of the Earth, the trees&'forests shouldn't be that textured should be no more than flat patches of green. unless you have forests made of Ygdrassil trees

Extrapolated from the mass/gravity relationship of other planets in our solar system found on Wikipedia. I'm no astronomer though, so I can't say if it's correct.

Unless it is totally hollow, if they are on the inside layer when they see the sky they would be looking inside the structure, then it makes more sense that the stars can be so easily rearranged because they are literally lights on a canvas near the center of the structure.
Checked that already. Again according to Wikipedia, the mass of "Little Garden" is not enough to make it collapse by its own weight and turn it into a star. The mass required would be about 23,800 times the mass of the Earth. Little Garden is 13,000 times the size of the Earth, and if it has about the same mass distribution as the Earth, it would have 13,000 times it's mass - which isn't much more than half that would be required to become a star.

Yes, she's got potential... but I really couldn't see her befriend plants, mushrooms or even bacteria XD

Going by that image - as there is blue sky and clouds all around that floating continent, rather than blackness and stars, it looks like it's part of something bigger.

Btw, most fantasy games, anime or whatnot with their own fictional world, as a whole, are very often even not as wide as a single real life continent. The scale of our 'little' Earth is actually a whole lot bigger than what most people could imagine (and thus translate correctly to fiction) even when we already have a world map and a globe. And now we have a star sized planet? My disbelief is in a very tight suspension there .

Aside from alternate history, ASB and their variants, I don't think I remember having seen a fantasy world even as wide as our Earth. The most probable reason for it that I can think of is the lack of content to fill in a space that large.

^ ahah yeah, we always hear the saying imagination is limitless and wide, and yet few can ever really appreciate the sheer magnitude of the universe. It's really daunting for authors to do world building at this scale so they usually concentrate on specifics, and leave the rest to "unknown", or build worlds like "Waterworlds" which is mostly featureless water, or like in Dune with itss expanse of Featureless sand ^^....which creates issues such as this. ( well not much an issue really ...just a mmm disconnect?)

It probably magic but i just want to say 13000 times the size does not equate to 13000 times the mass. Size in this case is based on diameter whereas mass is based on volume.

yeah definitely magic....actually they didn't specify what "size" they meant whether it was diameter or volume, also mass would not only depend on the volume but also the Density of the whole...like how neutron stars are...relatively smaller in volume but has very high density >>mass. anyway above statement can still be true depending on various factors, especially with magic included in the mix.

The numbers would quickly become ridiculous if that 13000 was the increase in diameter. A 13000 times increase in diameter means roughly 2.197.000.000.000 times increase in volume

Volume is based on diameter too. Mass is the density times its volume. Assuming similar mass distribution with earth (not very likely for something that massive though ) any increase in volume is directly proportional to the increase in mass.

A more specific reason why 13000 times the size does not equal 13000 times the mass is because different layers have different densities. Generally, it gets denser the closer you go to the core, one of the reason being temperature and pressure. A 13000 times increase in volume mean about 24 times increase in diameter. That's DEEP, the temperature and pressure at the core would be astronomical and the density values would be unbelievable long before you even reach the core.

So yeah, it's probably very likely that this planet would collapse onto itself if it exists in real life

well I hesitate to single it out as volume because they did not specify, also since they were talking about stellar sizes , it is very much possible. for comparison (mathematical, astronomic estimates of course)
earth diameter (equator) - 12,756.32 Km
x 13,000 = 165,832,160 km
sun diameter - 1,392,684 km
betelgeuse diameter : 660,250,000 - 834,000,000 km
antares diameter : 613,685,000 km
rigel : 51,430,000 km
deneb : 141,085,000 - 152,900,000 km

but yeah, since it's hard enough to think about a rocky object the size of the sun magic or no magic, let alone giant type sizes. so I too think they probably meant volume...unless the author wasn't even thinking about it and just brushed off it in passing....

Assuming that Ep2 pic is indeed the whole of Little Garden, it would be hard to compare it to regular celestial bodies. In the first place it does not follow physics rules of matter assuming spherical shape due to gravity (so it seems Magic is the structure, the skeleton if you may to make it assume a floating island shape) . its flat with a top side & a bottom side not to mention gravity is not concentrated on a point, it does not have a "core" but seems equal on all parts of the garden, suggesting an even larger celestial body which it is just a part of, present "underneath" the garden where all those waterfalls .... hmmm fall , but then this could be a function of their magic too. Again we can't say the mass & therefore Gravity of that whole structure is as it's size suggests ( it certainly doesn't feel like it to our MCs) for all we know the whole structure is like a balloon, with a magical framework and a Earth crust the shape of the island that we see.... well just some possibilities, imaginings
-----
edit: rethinking

on second thought it might not even be volume i think it's more on surface area rather than diameter & volume, since as we've seen little garden is flat rather than spherical, and they we're talking about travel distances.
and so :
Earth Surface Area 510,072,000 km²
Sun Surface area 6.0877×10¹² km²
11,990 × Earth
this is near enough the 13,000 number they uttered yes?

I thought of that as well, but it would still make no sense because any geographical feature would've been invisible from such an overview we saw earlier, akin to how we can't see mount Everest from space.

Unless that was like star sized mountains and the waterfalls are raining planets

You know, the current popular dance "Harlem Shake" would fit nicely to the dance in ED.

(Start the video from when Black Rabbit start to swing her fan alone to the end)

I'd say give it some time. They will show up eventually.

I think I've figured out why Izayoi is so powerful, and coincidentally, why he always wears headphones...

He listens to the theme song on auto-repeat during a battle.
