Since V-type virus exist in real life in the GG sub Luca says it is caused by bacteria.

Now the bacteria would be the viral carriers.

Initially we thought Macross Zero and the Birdman because of the viral connection and Alpha Bombay blood type.

Now the bacteria could be similar to bacteria seen on Galactic Whales.

Why? Galactic Whales are fold capable creatures like Vajra.

The cure for Sheryl if she can't get it from Ranka is unfortunately at the rim of the galaxy.

The planet known as Zola.

Zolans are immune to the bacteria carried by the Galactic Whales.

Anybody who isn't immune on Zola like humans or Zentradi are in danger of dying if they are wounded.

The antibodies is in the Zolans. Not mention Sheryl may have to dip at the life regenerating hot springs of Zola.

Oh and I believe that Witchcraft (the drug Sheryl was taking) was only delaying the final stages of the V-Type virus. It probably prolonged Sheryl's life. She may have died much sooner without it.

ive noticed the girl has a Pink hair and then I thought what if Sheryl heard of SMS becoming Pirates, I guess she will be the one to drag Alto into the ship and tell Alto
"Don't be such a sissy, be a man for once, come'er before i skin you alive!!!!!!!" or something like that.


Joking aside, Alto will do what Alto does best, that is to continue killing Vajra ^^. well if you think about it, what was that he started hating Vajra, i think it was in the first episode when he saved Ranka with the epic reverse Minmei catch. And also fueled again when he learned about Ranka's trauma.... ^^....

For now Alto will continue spending his days playing space invaders and shooting down some occasional space pirates.

I just cant shake the wondering of what they have in store for Sheryl, its actually driving me quite mad because i keep dwelling on it. With them waving her death flags at every turn i cant help but to wonder if they are using misdirection at this point.

Macross has epicness PIRATES comeon everyone wants to be pirates and hey their equipment isnt half bad either.

I guess people are just blowing the whole "pirates" bit a little out of proportion. To me, the captain referred to himself and the crew as pirates simply because they would be stealing the Quarter, not because they would turn to pillage other vessels and go hide their treasure and stuff...
Maybe they do have a plan, and we'll just have to wait and see what it is.

If keeping her on the drugs slowed down the advancement of the disease, it kind of defeated the point to trying to use her to control the Vajra, so she wouldn't be ready.

You know, if all Grace needed was a singer with cancer causing fold wave emissions, why go to all the effort and expense into making her an Idol? And if she did give Sheryl the disease, why not a bunch of other gutter brats?

I just don't see any reason to assume Grace did anything other than take in a sick child, raise her to be confident, and ditched her as an ungrateful adult.

Btw, I wonder how many have seen Black Heaven? The concept is kind of similar: sing a song, so you can save the universe. The difference there is the lead singer who is a salaryman.
