Yes, drawing a vector box would have worked if the plate has only one composite color, but it appears that most plates have gradients, so you need to layer it several times. From my experience, if I were to draw this kind of sign in ass, it will take me at least 3 hours to emulate diagonal gradients as well as adding shades. But, it only takes me a couple of minutes to draw in photoshop. Hence, it's nice to know that there's a program to convert from raster image to .ass
Anyways, doing the text on that sign is very easy... Basic {\bord0.5\1c\3c\3a} trick would work pretty well to match the text. Of course you can just use a straight text in .ass without matching any blur/color and even light, but it won't be called typesetting, now would it? ;p |

interesting idea, too bad like they said you can load img's with avs, and if you all forgot you can also load animated gifs if you are an extra lazy person~
Why not just use \K or \k and be done with it ;x or just sub an onscreen so that it is readable instead of "leet"? |
