I got addicted to D3 ever since my bro made me pick up ROS! Rocking my barbarian, despite it being underpowered atm! I'm 1 piece away from Immortal King's to having the CotA build. Though, I seriously need better DW weapons =/

So I FINALLY have Reaper of Souls thanks to my birthday. I have the digital deluxe version.
Unfortunately, that's where the fun ends. Right now I'm concerned with how I'm lacking any of the new gear that Reaper of Souls grants... and the fact that my Diablo 3 Collector's Edition preorder stuff (Angelic Wings and infinite-use dyes) won't appear on my new Crusader, while still being present on my old characters. The RoS stuff won't appear at all on any of my characters, though I dunno how to access the new stuff if it's associated with the new artisan or whatever.

The RoS bonus stuff looks to be transmogrification stuff, so until I have that artisan I imagine I won't see it. It bothers me though that my old preorder stuff isn't appearing and I can't find anything in my Battle.net account or in-game to redeem the stuff or collect it.
Similarly, the Starcraft II icons that also come with Reaper of Souls DD version are not appearing on my Starcraft II game. I don't have WoW, but I imagine if I did I wouldn't be seeing the pet, either.

RD, check the mail icon on the bottom left while you are in-game. The RoS collectors edition stuff (wings, dog, transmogs) are in two separate emails.
As for RoS gear, it's incredibly easy to gear for Torment 1 now, often within a day of hitting lv70 you can gear yourself up to run T1 rifts. It'll be rather slow at start as you probably only have about 200k sheet DPS, but with proper gearing and re-rolling, you can easily increase it to 500-600k in like an hour. (the standard crit hit/crit dmg gearing) Also don't neglect elemental damage increase, if you happen to come across multiple stacks of the same element, you can switch your skill runes to match it, elevating your overall damage output even further. You can see just how high your damage after elemental bonus is in the details menu. (case in point, my Crusader only shows 591k in armory, but with the fire % increases, her actual sheet dps is 1.2million  )

The latest update is out. We've got seasons now (which actually start on the 29th), we've got Greater Rifts, we've got the Vault. We've got item revamps across the board, a new Crusader set, even changes to the some of the UIs. Have fun.
Seasons are going to have unique Legendaries that, for the duration of the season, will be exclusive to season characters. After the season ends, they'll be moved into the regular loot tables and acquirable by everyone. Each season will also let participants acquire a new transmog recipe, once per season, for reaching level 70. After the end of each season, Seasonal characters will become normal characters. Until then, though, they're cut off from the game's regular sharing functions, and act as clean slates.

Expansion when? That idiot of Malthaelm screwed up big time!! Now they're hinting that Nephalem might fall into corruption(Aidan?). I hope not. And hope to kick Diablo's AND Adria's ass(again) asap. Last edited by Miraluka; 2014-08-26 at 17:14. |
