Ogata is awesome.
He simply put the damage Kenichi intended to put on him back and easily predict every move. Nothing but a toy. Odin not being actually bound by the wheelchair...pretty lame and the author better explain why he would do something like that. |

Right, so after other masters commented at how Ogata experimented with his disciple and crippled him, Ryuuto stands up after hundreds of chapters? Exactly what purpose did the wheelchair have?
Seems like Ogata was really impressed with Mubyoushi and looking at how Ryuuto blocked/diverted Ogata's attack, he's probably closer to master level than Kenichi and the strongest of Ogata's disciples.

Or maybe he was faking it and waiting for a weakness and gathering information on Ogata. |

On another note, does any one else think that Ogato is not evil per se but more immoral and yet principled? Based on what he has said, all the "evil" things he has been doing, such as teaching his disciples dangerous stuff, were only to develop the technique and only because the disciples desired and asked for it. It wasn't like he deceived or forced them. |

Considering all the talk of tenacity, its possible Ryuuto has been rehabilitating himself all this time.
Heck, if batman can recover from a broken back, don't see why Ryuuto couldn't recover from that technique after almost a year of being off his feet.

This arc has been really boring so far and this latest idioct outburst didn't help, but Ryuuto back in action is a great thing imo. I didn't think people would be upset about that... I may be wrong but I don't remember it ever being said that the damage was permanent.

Yawn... I really hope this isn't an indication that Ryuuto, who's been wheelchair bound, is suddenly stronger than Kenichi again, who couldn't do a damn thing against Ogata. It would make absolutely no sense, unless Matsuena just wants to drive home that Kenichi will never even get close to Master class. Tenacity means jack when you can't land a single blow. Just so tired of the dragged out and slow development of Ken's character since the DofD arc. There was a time he was learning a new move every dozen chapters or so. He's gained ONE new move in over 200 chapters now. That's milking things if you ask me.

Kenichi will always be MC, I don't give two F's about what you or others think so far due to the fact that Ukita's and others getting more time on the manga to shine than Ken. Hopefully the author's knows what he's doing and get to the real point that definitely should fit the name of the title of this manga. It's annoying, but I haven't stopped looking at this manga yet.
