Wonderful episode this week. A bit slow but it had the atmospheric tone with the arc and imo, it nailed it. OP and ED songs are decent as well.

And #1 rule in FT: Never piss off Erza.

Clever. But you know something? I noticed Laxus deliberately opted not to take any action when Flare showed up, especially since he was the one who took her out for what she did to Lucy. It must mean he knows she's learned her lesson, and isn't willing to do anything to her if she doesn't do anything more to them. There's something touching about that, you know?

That being said, the new production values are incredible, and so's that new OP. I was expecting more fro the ED's visuals, though. I only hope they keep up the good work. The only other downer is that I really don't like the new colors. I guess they're trying to show the series is going to get dark soon, but it's such a jarring contrast to the eye-popping.

With all that said, for those of you who haven't read the manga...enjoy the Tartaros arc. And prepare yourselves...

why the heck would they do that that being said this was a nice episode but i miss the last opening (one of the few openings i actually find myself watching) and the ending is one of those its only gonna be fun if they switch the girl.

I wonder if for each ending spread, they'll use more sketches from the FT volumes and/or wherever Hiro's library comes from?

I think watching the guys made the scene twice as funny, also the op had lot of spoilers but it still doesn't beat the STRIKE BACK op.

I also liked that in the op erza and Minerva were standing together off to the side doing nothing what great foreshadowing on their lack of contribution to the plot there is also a bit near the end were natsu blocks erza from the scene then the scenes keep changing with the second scene being erza making a really piss off face considering how many characters were put in the opening and how all of team natsu got like 15 seconds each(even the treasure hunters got like 7 seconds) it kind of feels like their making fun of her.

Wow, the atmosphere of this episode really changed, and it feels really good. It is so different from the feel of the filler episodes. I actually like the humor here; not so much the filler humor, though.

Well, I'm looking forward to the coming episodes.

what i really feel weirdi is because sometimes you can actually get to see some shows like HDxD in the noon and even without censorship lol, sometimes is really hard to understood japanese mind when comes to fanservice what they thing can be fine and what not and what the better time of day for some shows.

i'm still remember how the anime about the chatise belt get or was 2 or 3 changes in his schedulle time because he was too much over the top but others series almost in the same sort of way dont get all that trouble.

Nice opening into the new arc, it's interesting to see a council high-ranker who has a connection to FT and his request totally means adventure time for everyone!

In the public baths: Romeo doesn't get a nosebleed like a true MAN! Laxus may not care, but this episode proves that girls are waaaay more pervy than the guys ...especially Flare, apparently o_0

Nice OP, decent ED, looking forward to more of Mashima's sketches~

Good episode, I'm sure Manga fans are happy this series is out of filler arcs I personally didn't mind them

Animation was nice and I prefered the opening compared to the ending. Makes me excited for the up coming arc

Really liked the Natsu / Gray interactions in this one, I'm not normally a fan of Gray but some times things like this kind of has me enjoy his character

I wish Natsu / Gray did this mission alone, can't the others stay out of Natsu's or Gray's mission for once? They didn't bother Erza and Wendy's

Over all pretty fun one, looking forward to the rest of the arc though.

They came because everybody knows that if natsu and Gray are alone something bad will happen. With such a high profile mission you're playing with fire (no pun intended) if you dont bring them along.

and to be even more fair, even when you bring others along "specially erza" things can go even more wild, well natsu team is well know to waste most of the money rewards they take from the jobs in the repairs of they over the top damage than save for themselfs, what make me think "why peoples keep giving jobs" for a so dangerous guild full of crazy dudes which make they helps does more damage than the mission itself O.o????

For better or worse Erza is kinda the balance for Gray and natsu so she evens them out.

As for why they keep giving them jobs because for better or worse (often times worse) Fairy tail gets the job done.

I see the anime has taken to using character cards like the manga did. And the anime is even using the official translations, from the looks of things.

Is it me or did this episode have a bit too much replaying of the same scene going on? Almost 2 minutes after the OP was replaying a scene from last episode. Even after the first half they had that short scene recaping why they were chasing the treasure hunters. I sure hope this isn't how they plan on padding out this arc.

Solid episode overall though. Things are getting interesting and all the more dangerous with Minerva dropping in on the scene.
