Well if Satoshi is awake, I would expect them to be older. Rena even looks a little older in K1's delusion (I'm having flashbacks of the Zombie Tag game and how Rena won it).

It was broadcast on Nicodouga in a talk show with seiyu. Someone recorded and cut the PV out. That's why the quality in the video is not so good.

Based on what I saw, the magical girl episode will only have Rika, Satoko, and Hanyuu in it? Was hoping they'd all be in it.

With all the character designs released, there is going to be other characters besides those three. That PV is mainly focusing on the first episode. I'm sure we'll see more on episode 2 when it gets closer to the second DVD/BD's release date.

And like I've said before this OVA is full of riduculousness lol. So many innuedos, Rei's first episode doesn't even come close to it. This preview doesn't help either.

I don't see why not. Ni and Kai had a ton of innuendos, both sexual and just dark. Anime can be funny AND clever, you know.

Yes, but not as openly obvious as these. And because there's a lack of horror and suspense due to the main storyline being over, they're focusing on this. Also, Magical girl? I don't recall anything like that. I'm definitely not complainig about it, just stating MY opinion on it.

Just with the given concept preview of the 2nd arc, it's very easy to completely change the mood of it and present a storyline nobody expected, though. All-new original storylines, I wonder what R07's surprise will be ^^;

First arc I don't mind, why waste a good OVA arc that was planned but held off? Plus the punishment games are always interesting to me, fanservice or not.

The not-so-subtle rumor behind OVA #2 is that this is DEEN's trolling response to Shaft, since the director of Madoka Magica had to rip off some of Higurashi's plot mechanics for its series finale. Expect cuteness, chaos, and contracts. Either way, you know it's all Hanyuu's fault.

I'm really loving the new designs the more I see them. Is it me or did K1's energetic scenes look pretty well animated as far as Higurashi goes? Looking forward to this~
