but only reason i will buy ps3 is for mgs4 and ff13 but its comin out on 360.
but dont get me wrong ps3 does have some good hardware.

I know what you mean, while i don't get excited when people mention "Solid SNAKE"

"Little Planet" has me looking at the PS3 with a little more respect.

However i won't buy it for just one game, it has to bring out at leased another four that i would want to play.

If it wasn't for Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Metroid C3, Battalion Wii 2, No More Heroes, Ookami, House of Dead/Resident Evil Umbrella, Zelda, Smash Brawls

Then i would never of got the Wii, it was agonising waiting for games and i have to put up with SO MUCH CRAP from games makers who just don't care.

but now they are here, it's all i play.

Hopefully the price of the PS3 will drop to a more reasonable price and get more games I would like to play, that'll allow me to buy a HD TV and give me a valid excuse to get one.

Heh - this is what I really hate about this console generation with the hard disk drive making consumers waste more money for a bigger size - I want my disc copies back. I'm already at 24GB left from the PlayStation Network Games & Game Data.

I do wonder why Sony didn't decide to make a Blu-Ray Disc copy like Asia got for Siren...

anyway back to Wild Arms XF.

It's a game drought for me started in July. There is no games interesting for me until it hits October. I'll be broke from now on starting in October so many games coming out the month after month.

I've heard that The LAst Remnant will be released on Xbox before Ps3? Is this right? As far as I know LR will be released in november?

And when will Prince of Persia be released?

Yes, Last Remnant will be a timed exclusive on the 360. You'll probably have to wait half a year (a guess) before you get to play it if you only own a PS3.

Which is really what bugs me; if LR (and most probably, SO4 as well) gets timed exclusivity on the 360, then why isn't FF13 getting one as well? It irritates me that I have to wait for both versions to come out, when I only really need one since I own both systems. >_>

Supposedly the reason LR is getting delayed on the PS3 is because of UE3.

It's no different from them tweaking Crystal Tools to work for the 360 in FF13. In an interview, S-E has admitted that they have no plans to work on the 360 version of FF13 until AFTER the release in Japan, and they only plan to work on the localization until AFTER they make the 360 version work.

So really, PS3 version of LR gets delayed because of trying to get UE3 to work on the PS3, while the 360 version gets the go without having to wait for the PS3 version. But FF13 is not getting the same treatment, when it seems like its in an almost identical situation where they have 'problems' with the engine on the other console? What's good for the geese should be good for the gander, and yet, S-E seems to be treating the 360 and the PS3 differently when it comes to release priorities.

It's entirely different. Crystal Tools is an in-house engine, so the process will be much smoother than working with a licensed engine that was developed by people who don't even speak the same language.

Which version are you gonna buy. I myself am gonna buy the PS3 version though that's because I prefer the PS3 controller and i'm more used to playing FF's on the PS3 s yea....

The thing is no matter how much anyone denies it it's quite obvious that there's been money circulation between Microsoft and Square Enix for the FFXIII multi-Platform (not saying SE wouldnt consider developing FF's for the 360 but i'm sure they're smart enough to know that lesser RPG making companys have been paid to develop for the 360 so they'd probably take advantage of than and make money rather than doing it for free) This could be a false about Last remnant since they might actually be having problems using the Unreal Engine but with FFXIII they definetly made money off it and there's no way Microsoft would let them release the PS3 version in NA first because of the amount of money they paid for it, they paid Rockstar $500 Million for exclusive DLC for GTA4.

Off the disc, no. If you buy a JP PS1 game off of the PSN, however, it will work.
