What no...there were tons of people in every 18+ eroge and AV sections. That's why I prefer going in afternoon...less people. Every evening those places are usually packed. And yeah, there are females in those areas too. They DO exist there

Speaking of Gifu, since Shirakawa-go is nearby, that makes a 2nd reason as to why I want to go there since Nippon Ichi Software is located in that area. |

What to do in Tokyo?
Hi,
Im currently in Tokyo, and we kinda run out of things we "have to" do, so I was hoping we could get some tips from you guys? We have already done: - Akihabara - Nakano Broadway - Harajuku - Shinjuku - Shibuya (generall walking around) - Artnia (FF cafe) - Studio Ghibli Museum - Ni-Chome - Ikubukuro (Otome Road) - Okinawa (beaches, diving, hiking etc) We might check out Hakone if the weather stays nice. If you have any special gems or something hidden in the already mentioned places, please share. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Grab a train, hop on to Nara or Miyajima, enjoy the scenery and the stench of those goddamn deers.
Or Kyoto. No deers. Great food. Arashiyama's cherry blossom season should be around the corner, and it's one of the most beautiful places in all of Japan. One great thing about Japan is the fact the bullet train can take you almost anywhere very fast.

We only have about two more days, so it can only by a one-day trip. Do you consider Nara or Miyajima better than Hakone? The cherry Blossoms are withering now. But it has been amazingly beautiful the past week!

in the morning (Sunday). Hit up Yoyogi park. You will see a lot of different loli goths oh and it's hanami season and the cherry blossoms in yogogi park are the best!!! Just expect it to be crowded. Hit up Roppongi there is a bar I use to go to called Wall Street. HAs a pool table. IF you get a chance you might want to visit Yokohama, they got a pier, a graveyard that's european style, baseball stadium. hmmm. oh and that ferris wheel with the clock on it. Yokohama is a great day trip, just catch the express train from either Tokyo-eiki(station) or Shinjuku-eiki(station). The JR trains that is btw. Ginza is a must!!! I wish you would have had time to go down to Kyushu and hit up Beppu, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, & kumamoto. Then maybe hit up kansai, but time is always limiting. Anyway yea, spent 4 yrs in and out of JApan. Always loved living there. Enjoy it
-Cheers edit- I Wanted to type some more, but I gotta hit up the youth center for work. Anyway you're gonna love anything I suggest. Just becareful in Roppongi and I believe it cost 500 yen to take the JR train to yokohama. Do not take the shinkansen o Yokohama that is. If it's on a different island shinkansen it all da way. I never got to use a JR pass never allowed them to students living there. You're making me miss my undergraduate years.. Peace. |

Shinsaibashi is but a clusterfuck. We got food though. Good food. I'm so sad the last time I went back to my hometown (I'm born & raised in Osaka), all those used bookstores near Nanba city were cleared out. It was like piece of my childhood destroyed. Quote:
Same goes for Kyoto, although personally Nara has nothing on Kyoto. I may be biased being a kansai-jin though. Besides, not having the stench of deer-poo everywhere is a plus.

Miyajama > anything!!!
Seriously, Hakone, go another time. Miyajima is magic, where else are you going to see deer, beach, lovely ryokans and a shrine in the sea~~~ (Need to get back there someday) ><;

You better visit schools with a local friend, who has been in one of those. If you don't speak Japanese, it can be difficult to state your intent. Not every school is easy to enter. Though, there is one exception. The actuall school from the anime K-On is open all day long for open visits.

Yeah, Miyajima is pretty amazing.
Half the day the temple is on the ocean, the other half of the day water recedes to reveal it completely on ground, you can even WALK to the gigantic arch on the sea. Years ago when Marmalade Boy was airing, I saw the characters walk around in familiar areas of Miyajima and it took me back to my school days memory. When I was their age, our school too had the exact same trip to Miyajima.

The weather is shitty and close to 0 degrees as well, so there might not a Hakonetrip either. :/ Oh well. Ill check out the bar in Roppongi. Is there any partylife on mondays or tuesday in for example Shinjuku and Ikubukuro? We missed the party this weekend XD And we are girls, so "cute girls in schooluniforms" are not our thing. And its schoolvacation now
