@ Albanuva: Looks like Ubuntu. Is it like the other Linux distros, requiring you to use that prehistoric command-prompt to install stuff?

@Wordplay: Test the Ubuntu/Kubuntu live CD.

Linux has improved a lot in the last year or so, especially Ubuntu.

pfft. The command line isn't prehistoric.

Is typing "sudo apt-get install firefox" any more difficult or time consuming than going to the applications menu, clicking on adept, scrolling through the packages (or typing in a search), and then clicking install or whatever?

Source for your wallpaper, please?

Also, what're you using to get your music player to look like that?

Oh, and what icons are you using?

@ Epyon9283

Of course it is when you don't know the commands and have to read through several sites of guidance. With icons it's clickety-click click and job done; no need to spend hours to study some silly manual. Oh, and when there is 10 different programs, each of them has their own manual, so multiply the time. I know this from experience.

@ Marvel

Love those fleshy colours, but those no-bust kids kinda spoil the otherwise sexy feel in it.

So, I was browsing the web for cool Naruto wallpapers, and this popped up. It's pretty cool IMHO. Sasuke looks pretty mad, ne?

The icons came bundled with the desktop tool, except for a few which i searched for simply using google images I could upload the icons separately onto yousendit or something if you wanted it (crossing my fingers that isn't breaking any rules)
Also, music player? What music player ?

You don't automatically know how to use a GUI either. Most GUIs aren't particularly intuitive.

anyway here's my non-anime (for the moment) desktop:

Thumbs up

here is my desktop at moment... I wont be changing it anytime soon.

Why did it take me so long to find such a good anime (reached its 2nd season and almost 3rd season before I gave it a chance... best anime list for fight scenes definatly )
