Multiple reliable twitter sources now saying Blue Box will receive an anime in 2023. Awaiting the inevitable casting of Hanae as Taiki.

I started out really loving this one, which represents part of the new direction for WSJ. It’s a very realistic sports manga in the Adachi mold, with the focus on romance as much as sports. The appeal has thinned for me in recent months as the plot has gone in a pretty cliched direction IMO, but I still enjoy it.

I felt like an anime adaption was inevitable, although it still feels a little soon, nevertheless I'm totally down .

I really hope so, since I've been putting off reading the manga, since for me at least rakugo is something I do better with when there's acting and movement.

I think they do a good job with that in the manga. And it’s overall very good despite the MC being a total Mary Sue.

Yep, they both have a lot of rakugo expirience so it will be a perfect choice.
