Eh, I've been saying all along that the show is run by two corporations.
First you got the very obvious Pizza Hut advertisements. And well, what goes best with pizza? Cola, of course! That's where C.C. (pronounced C-2) comes in! C2 cola, Pizza Hut pizza, it's a conspiracy I say! |

Episode 06 Screencaps and Summary
Truthfully, I don't mind the fairly minor product placement if it means that a series becomes better funded, leading to better production/animation quality. Of course a line has to be drawn somewhere, but I don't think that this show has crossed that yet. |

I just read your summary OMNI
So there's actually a chinese federation? That makes me wonder though, has there been any maps showing the world powers in Code Geass? I know in episode 1 there were several eastern islands but just curious. |

I feel the CLAMP designs in this are almost a detriment, due to them using their new messed up art style instead of the older traditional CLAMP style. That pic of whats her name in the swimsuit was creepy to me instead of cute. Limbs and body proportions were not meant to be that way o.o;;

This was one funny episode.
Spoiler:
Like I thought it seems Emp-dude respects people who have fought to get to the top. His outlook seems like Dii from Utawarerumono(the most recent reference I could think of). Also student council tensions will rise seeing that Nina is really frightened of Elevens, Kallen already hates Britannians enough as it is. Next week some Zero action and sutherlands getting pawned by the purple knights. Last edited by monstratboy; 2006-11-11 at 08:06. |

Episode 6 Screen Captures
I am seriously doubting that Mr. Emperor actually has a neck at all. All in all, a great episode that takes a break from the nonstop drama of Lelouch vs. the Holy Britannia Empire from the last few episodes. The depiction of the students' prejudice toward Suzaku felt somewhat cliche though, complete with his vandalized shirt. How is a cat able to keep a helmet on for that long and run from the Lamperouge residence to the school and finally to the bell house? Such stamina... I think the last few moments of the episode, when Suzaku and Lelouch are pursuing the cat on the roof together, does give the fans some shounen-ai hints. It's funny how Suzaku points out that Lelouch just isn't as fit as him (on top of having chased the cat for quite a while). Lelouch may be a bit too far on the lean side after all.

^ That could be Schneizel, who Clovis mentioned may have been involved in the plot.
Also I noticed that this place at the start of the ep: Spoiler:
Is the mysterious ruined location in the OP. Looks rather unearthly. Rather Jovian? Note the conspicuous pink crystal. Now where have we seen pink crystals before? |

Sire! I shall follow thee to the ends of the Earth.
I sincerely hope the Emperor will be the final opponent, and not an aspiring Schnaizer for instance. Anyone who has shoulders that wide deserves their final boss status. I'm also taking a guess that Lloyd is his bastard son. The speech, which had amazing music in the background by the way, told us how the next episode's flashback conversation will go: Lelouch: They killed Mother! Empie: Tough luck. Lelouch: ... gyyaRGHGHHH! Is there a utility savvy person who could rip Empie's "ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" into an audio file? If possible, in addition the whole speech beginning from when Suzaku shuts up to when the music ends would be fantastic. Last edited by Retsoor; 2006-11-10 at 13:26. |

I love Norio Wakamoto's voice. I hope he is one of the final bosses, he does loud and evil like no one else. Anyway here's .wavs of the Full Speech (3mb) and the All Hail Brittannia (70kb) clip |

Does episode six follow a week after episode 5 or does Suzaku take off his bandages straight away when he realises the cool and rugged look is over shadowed by his bad publicity.
And seriously C.C. must be trying to give Lulu a mental breakdown. She goes against nearly every order he gives her. Not that he has any right to order her around but jeese, cut the man a little slack. She's hanging about in the kitchen while one of the handful of people who can identify her is visiting; following that Lelouch tells her to not to touch his alter ego stuff, and and the end of the episode she has it in her lap. |
