I'm not sure if Choco's art will work in animated version... But as someone commented on youtube. If ever a new anime is made, the LN trailer song should be used. @_@

Hold on guys.

It may not be for season 2. It could be for the DVD that's coming with Limited Edition of Vol. 8 in the Light Novels.

Well they do have nothing to go on in regards to making such a big investment other than clamoring of vocal fans. They're probably using V8 and rerelease of V1-7 as a litmus if a planned 2nd season should keep going or get cancelled.

There is a fanbase for IS, but given how much time has passed the novelty might have wore off (Remember how not even 2ch knows why it's popular ?) so it makes more sense to test the waters with a much cheaper LN first before deciding how much to commit to an Anime project.

Xenosaga got animated. I don't see why it wouldn't work. His art isn't bad. His mecha is actually really nice. Its his characters can look a little off.

And that's about the only thing I like about the redesign. The old rifle looked way to bulky for my tastes. Especially since it was supposed to be more sniperish from what I understand.

Look at that barrel, if anything it's more to canon scale than the old one due t the shrunken size/proportion of Cecilia... and I hate it even more.

Any idea what this IS is/was capable of and why Tabane wanted it?
