I see. I'm not quite sure if you mean fan wars among Wing fans or between them and fans of other Gundam series. In both cases, I dare say Wing is too old to attract any serious troublemakers, but if a mod thinks it'll go up in flames, I'll defer to your good judgment. I can't in good conscience say that the FT thread, while generally civilized, was entirely free of unsavory moments either. Then again, which thread is?

But as far as mixing in FT goes, rest assured that in and out of this forum I have discovered FT to be an excellent Wing fan repellent. Seriously, I can talk to people about Wing just fine, but as soon as I tell them about FT, it's the last I hear of them.

Judging by this frequent reaction, I'd say your concerns are unfounded. The majority of fans prefers to staunchly ignore its existence, so it wouldn't come up at all.

And thank you, but a separate Glory thread is unnecessary. So far Glory and FT have never interfered with each other and seeing as neither generates much discussion nowadays anyway, a separate thread would only gather dust.

the thing is if I creating a thread based on old material. not sure if it will last long as you don't really have new material to be discussed and probably just going to repeat old discussion.

if I am created GoL thread. you have something new to discuss. then you can bring the TV series as discussion for sake of comparison if you desire so.

that is what I think really. I dont really want to created thread that only last few pages. unless if it something really important.

EDIT: just looking back at FT thread. you guys simply use it as general discussion. Personally I dont really mind if you guys stay that way.

So, when IBO finally starts up, we should probably have a few of the standard threads up. Like a general discussion thread, spoiler/spec discussion thread, mech/weapon/tech discussion thread, and a Mikazuki Argus discussion thread. Do we need to craft up opening posts for those before they're created on the 4th?

Surprisingly, rather than Mikazuki, it seems a thread on Kudelia might be more appropriate, either that or a generic character thread as was proposed in the Mikazuki thread.

Well, it doesn't have to be now and things might change as we're only at episode 2, but maybe something to think about in the (near) future.
