I'm a Shinku fan. But I also like Suiseiseki a lot too, she's just so humorously evil

And while generally I detest Gin, I like the character design and could probably live with her if I gagged her first (um... to stop the laigh, not for any other reason).

Uh... no, not really. Reason #1 is that the main character isn't trying to get jiggy with any of the female dolls, unlike Chobits. There are other reasons (such as the dolls already being fully fluent in language, feeling, meaning etc., which Chii wasn't and therefore the series focused on her learning stuff a fair amount), but I'd say the lack of 'romance' is kinda the biggy for me.

Nonono, I still can't really stand her, personality-wise, but I'm rather liking her character design (and Neko always = WIN)

Plus, the idea of a badguy character like her having a Yakult addiction kinda tickled my fancy a bit heh.
