That's what I was thinking too. Also wasn't it Feather that said the Hyoubu we know wasn't in the future or something Minamoto saw in his dream trip to the future? Maybe this is why since he's now a miniature offset version of Hyoubu...

Yeah, it seems the girls had their own vision they were trying to alter if I understood it correctly. That's a pretty good twist to the plot and I wonder if that will effect Minamoto's one as well...

The twist here is that we have two "different" futures:

1. The future Children and Major know what the real cause of the future is, Black Phantom's (really screwed up) plans. The Children join Pandra because of the Majors death, and the Majors body would have been used to "supercharge" the powers of the Phantom clone esper army.

2. The rest of Pandra, Babel, and the current Children don't know this. The dolphin's vision is about the Children "going bad" and rebelling as leaders of the espers against the Normals, and ends with Miyamoto killing Kaoru.

The two visions are of the same future, but one is more complete than the other. The actual future may be revealed to everyone soon enough, now that the Major is "dead" and Black Phantom has no real obstacles left to his plan (for now).

My big question for now is how the Major put all these pieces together when no one else could. He's a powerful esper and charismatic, and he's often a step ahead....but lately it's been more like he has precognition than good intuition when it comes to how his plans have worked out.

Doesn't he have 'Dolphin Brain' that allows him to see fragments of the future as well?

As far as piecing it all together... he is a villain who has operated in the dark side of the conflict multiple times.
