The anime will start broadcast in April 2010, and will be 26 episodes long.

The novel was released by Ohta Shuppan in January 2005.

A “news leak” on 2ch has revealed that the Shounen Jump title Bakuman is getting an anime adaptation. Further details are unknown at this time. Though still a rumor at this time, the source has been reliably accurate in the past.

Bakuman is a meta-series about two friends who become rookie manga creators and get published in Shounen Jump, which is the very magazine that runs Bakuman. The creators of Bakuman are Ohba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi, known for their manga Death Note, which also ran in Shounen Jump.

For now consider this a rumor since there's no official announcement of an anime adaptation of it.

It's probably true. There is a small scan from the next Weekly Shonen Jump (?) on Anime News Network stating that the anime will run in fall 2010 on the NHK-Educational channel.

The official homepage of code geass showed a picture that stated there will be more manga and "visual works" of CODE GEASS in 2010. Further announcements will be made early 2010.

If it turns out that with "visual works" they mean a 3rd code geass anime season (prequel or sequel), that would give me an instant orgasm.
