Maybe it comes from "uzai" aka "annoying"? Though it wouldn't fit Izaya IMO, but maybe Japanese fans see him as such.

gomen...and I got a bit side tracked too, watching the "Perfect Guide"　available on the website. Anyone else seen it? Some of it's a bit too straight, but some parts are hilarious, like OnoD at the end...

Izaya is great, but I'm trying to avoid jumping the fan-bandwaggon for now. Shizuo seems to be the most awesome player instead, and Shinra piques my interest as well.

That brings up the most interesting part of this bandwagon jumping for the Izaya fanclub. While I don't doubt that Izaya himself is a very interesting character, the thing I'm most curious about is to see whether or not his popularity will stay consistent throughout the whole series, as we've only really seen a fraction of a fraction of the characters this show has to offer, and most of the cast really does seem to be pretty stellar.

One of the reasons why I'm anticipating the next episodes for this show, which I haven't done for any show in quite a while.

I decided to watch Durarara because of Baccano. And Anri.

Dunno, but oppai characters, especially Suzuhito's, don't really 'excite' me. It was the same with Devil Survivor, and its the same here.

Now if you're talking about Erika...

That said, I'm still watching the show mainly for Anri. Erika's LI is all but formalized, but shipping Anri is my main draw for the show. Not to mention Brain Base in the past seems to put a wee bit more effort on the megannekko character, so I'm confident I'm going to like her best.

Definitely not! That creepy looking guy (teacher?) who stared at her chest is definitely interested, same with Mikado if the preview of 3 is any indication.

If you mean in real life (which is what obviously what you are asking but I feel like screwing around ) then there are only 4 main female casts so far (don't think the one from episode 2's going to show up again), none of them strike me as hot though (more like cute and fun).

Anri is like... the least interesting character to me so far. Though of course that's only my first impression since it's way too soon to truly judge her.

I wonder if the teacher who was lusting for her is going to have any kind of relevance.

I also find her rather attractive, though then again i have the hots for most of Yasuda Suzuhito female designs. Am looking forward to seeing more of her character fleshed out, which should start with this weeks episode.

He may not be the kind of person I would turn around and call "uzai" (normally use that word when ribbing friends)...but he does fit the 「うっとうしい」part of the definition that my dictionary gives me as well...

And I'll leave you guys to talk about the attractiveness of the female characters...

For me, she's one of those perfect mix of cute and hot. Very hot body (those breasts and legs...), very cute face, glasses, and her being voiced by Hanazawa Kana adds even more to the cuteness ! I can't wait to see more of her.

I definitely find Anri very cute, but I still haven't got the feeling 'Wow she's hot'. Only Yoko and Sheryl made me think that . Being voiced by Kana Hanazawa, does make her extra darn cute.

Izaya is hawter, since he's voiced by Kamiyan.

Just got around to watching the 2nd episode. Talk about depressing. I'm glad I had the K-On special to watch after wards otherwise I'd be really bummed out.

I don't like that guy by the way, doing all that for your own amusement. I hope he get's what he deserves.
