And this is why I give a series 7 episodes before dropping it. I sure hope they keep playing on the momentum they just started, because now I'm interested again.

This would've been a good episode if it focused more on why everyone doesn't remember Shiro or even how Mikoto formed Homra and his and NotShizuo's background....

Because otherwise? I can't be the only one who doesn't care about why Totsuka was THE BESTEST BRO EVAHHHHHH AND NOES HE HAD TO DIEEEEEE WHHHHHHHHY??? Because I seriously don't give a shit

Anyway, next week the Blue Group wants Shiro and co. And Kuro's fighting one of the Glasses Twins.

If Kuroh gets killed off, as much as I like this show for the most part, I'm done. Kuroh makes this show awesome.

Maybe because it's not important? There's a reason why there's a manga dedicated just to Homra. What is important for the story the anime is telling is conveying how much Tatara meant to Homra. I mean, I really want to know more about Reishi's background, about how he ended up as the Blue King, how he met Mikoto, if he and Saruhiko are really brothers or if it's just my wishful thinking, etc., but I'm not expecting the anime to touch on anything that doesn't concern the present story or the characters. (For what it's worth, the anime may still go into how Homra was formed if it concerns anyone's characterization.)

I didn't particularly care about Tatara myself, but he's kind of a key character in the story. His death is the reason why everyone and their dog (cat) is after Shiro, and very likely the reason (direct or indirect) why Shiro turned into the Shiro he is now. Of course they could've done it without all the Homra bonding but as this is not a documentary you have to involve the viewers emotionally to care about his death and all that it implies. Maybe you didn't care, I didn't cry myself to sleep after watching the episode either, but it made me care about his death and made me understand Homra a little better, and I suppose that was the point.

okay! this is going to be interesting... Anna is getting cuter while Neko is showing attitude...

So that's the reason why Red are chasing Shiro... now, hopefully in next episode we can find out why Blue are chasing Shiro too

Regarding the anime, I look forward to seeing more of Homra and People in Blues.

Depends on your palette.

The sweet flavor of red bean paste dissolved into alcohol probably wouldn't be all that bad.

I've certainly been one step removed with all the red bean paste in mochi I've eaten along with sake at new years.

After rewatching it, it seems as if both stories were supposed to play into one another, the story about Tatara's life and death and Shiro discovering his existence as he knew it was a lie. Tatara saying "Don't sweat it, it will all work out." and Kuro giving Shiro his weird bit of hope at the end.

I also noticed their eyes at the end of each story, Tatara when he was dieng and Shiro when he was crying in the park. Both seemed to face death with a similar teary purity.

Whatever the link is between them, I hope the similarities in their personalities play more of a role in the story.

Besides a few shounen-ai moments, I don't have a problem with them in the series (I'm not really a fan of boys' love either) as long as they don't go overkill. But I agree that Neko needs more fanservice, I really enjoy both her sexily cute appearance and her funny antics she shares with Shiro.

i do wonder who the guy who beat up tatara was in the flashback when he was younger. he never told us onscreen. maybe tatara was always targeted to be killed. to be honest in the manga tatara comes off as some one hiding something to me.

There are too many "BL" moments however I don't particularly care because I watched Gensomaden Saiyuki before. And it had alot of "BL" moments too. Shiro said he is the "Colorless king". meaning that he is transparent or empty?. And by killing that guy he gained his personality however I'm more curious as to who is Shiro going to meet at that time when he killed Tatara.
