This thread is for the discussion of things related to the Monogatari Series's time lines between the stories, add and the overall chronological order and allows including summaries & recommendations on viewing order if it relates to those to.

If you wish to discuss an individual story, please you an appropriate thread, but if you to ask or talk about how two or more stories fit together than this the appropriate thread.

For example things like this are well fit for this thread.

Thank you for creating this thread. It was always a bit confusing trying to fit everything together chronologically. With that said, I have created a chronological table to try to fit everything together from the different sources I gathered around the Internet. Please let me know if I put something incorrect in. As for the Story Date year, I'm using "01" as the year 1 reference and "02" as year 2.

Thanks for the table. If you are taking requests could we have anime episode numbers for the various stories i.e. Mayoi Snail is (I think) Bakemonogatari episodes 3 through 5.

Of course. Table has been updated with episode numbers added on the last column.

Greatly appreciate the work, but honestly it still look really hard to follow. I guess having the arc/ season name when I can't remember which arc and which season it is could be the reason.

On the table. Instead of making an AS specific one. Why don't you just put it on Excel/ Words, printscreen and then host the image? Would look much more proper and you can play around with the colour if you want

I've tried putting it into both Excel and Word, changed formatting and color, and placed into a JPEG. However, all the variations I tried does not make it look any simpler.

I'm also working on another table that has summaries in chronological order, which was originally made by a poster on Reddit, and I will post it when I get the chance. However, it probably will be incomplete unless others are willing to chip in.

I also want to let you know that the table as currently posted can be copied and pasted into an Excel or Word table. You can play around with coloring or designs yourself if you do that to suit your needs. Furthermore, if you want to remove "|", use Ctrl+f, and replace "|" with blank.

I've converted the table into an Open Office spreadsheet so I can work on it a bit more myself so I can, for example, convert the US-centric MM/DD/YY dates into something a bit more universal like YYYY-MM-DD format. I'm also thinking of adding more information listing which characters appear in each storyline or anime episode but just putting the names in will be confusing to read so I might colour-code them in some way. I presume Araragi-senpai is in everything...

Awesome that you are taking the initiative. FYI, I've just updated the table with the most recent information I know. That is, I've corrected the volume numbers for the latest books, added story titles to Wazamonogatari, and added the 2 new scheduled volumes of Nademonogatari and Musubimonogatari.

And no, Araragi is not necessarily in every story. There were a few that I remember him being missing from, especially when Hitagi went on her own.

If someone knows the in story dates for the stories of Wazamonogatari, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I will update it when the information is available elsewhere.
