Well I can't say I've listened to a ton of anime music, but everything that Aya Hirano and the rest of the supporting cast of Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu have done is what's appealed to me the most.
Hare Hare Yukai has approximately 104 plays on my itunes library, and 200 on my iPod. Perhaps I like them too much. |

Oh, I have to say The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya hands down. As fanboy-ish as it sounds, it has by far some of the most addicting, fun, and amazingly danceable music that I've heard from not only anime, but music in general. Songs like Hare Hare Yukai and Boken Desho Desho are simply amazing in every way.
AND....I just said that again. What an idiot I am. I keep forgetting how big all these threads are. Please ignore my idiocy. |

Love the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni sountrack overall.
Especially the main theme that was all over you when a sad moment was on. As well as most of the intro's and ending songs that were a masterpiece for me. Then comes Umineko with it's great OP and ED songs and nice background songs.
