Hello.

I've been a devoted anime / manga fan for a long, long time now. I began with some mainstream Shounen series, but that ended once I stumbled upon my first horror / dark fantasy stories (I remember devouring half of Berserk in a single sitting).

Overall, I've finished / am up to date with about 50 anime and manga series. Of those, my all-time top-5 would be: Monster, Berserk, Battle Royale, Gantz, Claymore.

Since this forum features discussions on many of my favorite series, I've decided to join.

hey guys my name is mandukar, the name isn't from any anime or tv programme its a ralther unquie name I made up for a star trek site.

anyhow I joinned in the hopes of finding people thats into death note and blood plus, hehe whilst theres a death note area there isn't a blood plus? and why not? it was a fantastic anime! lol. and one that actully got me watching others.

I was wondering though is there any other anime out there simler to Death note?

I've been here for a little while now but I haven't properly introduced myself.

I usually go to forums or communities that are fairly small, like Lucky Star Shrine and Wiiloaded when it was still a small community, so going to a forum like this is a little overwhelming compared to other forums I go to, even though the first forum I went to was Serebii.net which is now a huge community.

I prefer drama, comedy slice of life anime, so I like Haruhi, Clannad, Air, Lucky Star, K-On! and Strawberry Panic! The only anime I really like with fantasy is Inuyasha, and I'm glad that's starting again this fall.

I started drawing 2 or 3 weeks ago and I'm improving with every drawing I draw, plus I just enjoy doing it.

No there isn't. Yet there are many Goth or Detective or great leads anime series (seperate features)

Well, let's start with me being a writer...I guess. I mean, I'm not that good at it, but I'd like to think I can push a somewhat entertaining story if I put my mind to it. saw this post and I just wanted to say King of Yuri, Never, ever, EVER, think of yourself as a bad writer if you are a writer. It makes you lose the battle before you get to the feild. Always thrive to be greater then you already are and remember that if writing is something you truly love, from the bottom of your heart, you can never be bad at it, ever.

Same thing goes for drawing/art IMO.
