I mean, she is above average. But you're hyping her way too much. Her looks don't make up for her acting. She'd have to be hotter than she is to do that. The movies sure did a good job of making her look even better than she does, but it didn't keep me interested.

So it seems Victoria's Secret Model Rosie Huntington will replace Miss Fox.
Not sure what to make of it as she has no acting experience, I wonder if that is any better or worse than before?! time will tell.

She's unattractive to me, too. But then again, I find most "hot" celebrities unattractive, because they have that aura of "fakeness" around them. Stars and models get tons of body work, both for real, and in post-production. Trim this, lift that, hide these other things, and then use the computer to adjust them a bit more.
"Real" women are more attractive to me, because they real; flaws and all. I just get plain turned off by the plastic perfection. So yeah, goodbye Megan, you will not be missed. The whole romance was too off-putting in a giant robot series anyway. Gonna be interesting to see how Bey handles things in Transformers III, whether he has the two break up (right after their heartfelt "I love yous" so prominent in II), whether she just goes away off screen, or if they just have another actor play the character (which will be a bit jarring). |

Interesting. But by now, several other nations have photographed the dark side of the moon(India, China, the EU), so they'd either have to be in on the whole thing, or it's a serious AU.
Though Bey's Transformers have mostly jumped the shark, I'll still torrent it and watch it online just to see. Honestly, he could save a lot of money by cutting out most of the humans and focusing on the robots. And with Megan being dropped (good thing, too), he has an opportunity. Guessing that transformer in the preview might be the space shuttle one (can't recall the name), but I could be wrong. I would have thought Skyfire, aka Jetfire, but they already used him. |

Anyway, I won't be watching it. First movie didn't really do me much, never saw the second and I assume this movie will be even worse than the first two combined, considering Hollywood sucks at making good sequels/prequels.

Well, it could also be Astrotrain (if we're certain he transforms into a shuttle - though the Cybertronian depicted in the trailer had blue optics instead of the Decepticon red) or Alpha Trion (what with the mustache thingy around his lips).
As for the new female lead, well, we already know Bay traded Fox for a former Victoria's Secret model...

I don't get it, the trailer didn't show anything from the dark side of the Moon (not that their spacesuits would have allowed them to even venture out on the dark side of the Moon). Hell, the wrecked spaceship seemed to be no more than 100 meters from the Apollo Lunar Module, which means it would have been clearly visible by anyone with a telescope who had ever actually looked at the moon...
All in all, very stupid trailer. I imagine (or at least hope) that Neil Armstrong (since he was mentioned) must be dumbfounded by the atrocity Bay has committed concerning one of the greatest moments (if not the greatest moment) in humankind's short history... Sadly, though, I'm still stupid enough to want to see it... Last edited by james0246; 2010-12-10 at 14:46. |
