I don't think it was certain that Beatrice was playing with Rosa at that very moment, although it could be interpreted that way. After reading it more carefully it does strongly imply that they're talking to Battler. I thought it'd be a nice twist if someone else was in the infinite loop.

Incidentally,

縁寿 came from "Angelus".
These are skill names of "Ragnarok Online".
But, of course, the godfather Kinzo doesn't know this MMORPG (^_^;

Seriously, the art of Tatarigoroshi and Himatsubushi are without a doubt for me extremely sub par. Episode 2 drawn like Tatarigoroshi will be really a pain with Rosa crazy moments etc I believe.
I would rather hope an episode drawn by either Suzuragi Karin or Houjou Yukari (especially the later in fact)

That said, I do wonder how the releases will go on, as somethings won't make sense with Battler VS Beatrice jousting without the readers knowing about the end events and the tea party of the first episode.

I think they will completely drop the intellectual side joust altogether :x

Just look at Meakashi-hen vs. Tsumihoroboshi-hen. Meakashi-hen started in August, and ended in april. Tsumihoroboshi-hen started in june, and...has it ended yet?
