Can't believe Sasahara can handle so many rejections like that. LOL I would run away and be depressed a long long time ago.

You've seen nothing of Japan's work search process.

I think you need a college diploma just to work at McDonalds.
Well that's in my home country. Probably the same but slightly better in japan.

Seems the best place to post this question.

When is it out on dvd? I want to import the artbox version (US to UK). I saw it was ment to be about now but I went to amazon.com and it now says 24th Aug, any idea if this is right?

Vol 1 is due for release on the 25th Aug, I've preordered mine from DVDPacific, Genshiken: Season 2, Vol. 1 $18.77. BTW, I also live in the U.K. and I find this is a good online store for such imports (shipping is cheap as well).

Please note that the artbox version had been solicited previously but cancelled, all we have at the moment is the normal release (no artbox).

Why did it have to end? It was such a great series, I feel so empty. It's always the same after watching an anime I really enjoyed, gah...

well theres still probably a whole season worth of manga to animate, so it's possible if Mf feels like it they could, but if you want more just read the manga.

I enjoyed the second season as much as the first, not to mention the new characters of Angela and Sue were hilarious, I can totally sympathize with the job search and the rejection. I definitely wouldn't mind another season.

I positively adored the engrish speaking episode, I always give extra points to anime's that go to that effort.

Does anyone know which episodes were anime original? I already read the manga and just want to see the scenes that weren't in it.
