Resident Evil Revelations coming to Europe on the 27/JAN/2011, source Edge.
Furthermore the game will be co-published by Nintendo in europe, not sure if it is also the case in NA and in japan.
Someone should really start a thread for this game.

Monster Hunter 3DS console, and Ice White colour announced, it looks more like panda colouring. source andriasang.com and for ice white shoots

Not 100% new or related to 3DS, but Level 5 event is next weekend 15/OCT and 16/OCT, the show will be available on Ustream. Some playable games are 3DS games, source andriasang.com

Heh, with the Pink and Ice White 3DS models, I just realized we now have the real-life counterparts to Devil Survivor Overclocked's version of the MC's, Atsuro's and Yuzu's COMPs.

Guild01 was a title announced last week(?) by level-5, more on andriasang.com
To make it short it is 4 Directors doing 4 different game but put on 1 cart. These games are Kaiho Shojo (Suda GoIchi/51), Rental Bukiya de Omasse (Yoshiyuki Hirai), Air Porter (Yoot Saito) and Crimson Shroud (Yasumi Matsuno). So you have a mix of different genres, from shooter to RPG, reckon something for everyone. If you follow the link to andriasang.com you can see some first shots of the games. Siliconera has also an article on it.

Suda's game, Kaiho Shojo, will feature animation done by Bones.

Anyone else thinking the 3DS price drop will murder PSVita? Unless Sony decides to repeat the PS3 thing and find cheaper parts and lower the price.

Why? 3DS was OVER-priced. The price drop was simply restoring normality after Nintendo realised they over-estimated demand. And the reason they over-estimated demand was because they didn't release the games fast enough.

Right now there are two games I want to buy for Vita, and none for 3DS. That's not a good sign at all.

Even if they do, it won't matter much to sony, since they have PS Suite coming. To make it simple, is basically a virtual PS platform, not only for android, but also planed for other OS and devices. I am totally expecting the next gen of bravia TV and portable electronics to be able to run PS suite. Furthermore, the rumours that sony are trying to rebrand/take-over sony ericsson are increasing. So PSV is really just a short time solution for Sony.

As for 3DS, 2012 looks good. I just hope games are actually getting localised.

Depends on what you mean by "want to buy". There are no games for the 3DS I want to buy right now, but there are plenty of upcoming games still in development that I would want to buy.

It is a prerecorded show dealing with things that couldn't be talked about, during the September event. At the moment, only information about the November firmware and Mario Kart 7 are known to be part of the show.
IIRC, the november update will bring 3D movie shooting, and an updated eshop and couple of other things.

This and Kagura are reasons I hate region locking. Hopes that the Nov. System update will remove region lock are zero, so it looks like, sooner or later an japanese machine is a must.

Couple of recent announced games:
D3 has a game called, translated, "If I were in a sealed room with girl, I'd probably ...". Source andriasang.com, including a few in game shots from famitsu.com.

Pokemon? Great, my favorite video game franchise is starting to crawl its way into 3DS territories now. I'll loosen up a bit now. It's likely that I'll just borrow/rent a 3DS solely for Pokemon.

However, unless either Nintendo drops the region lock in the future, or the 3DS is decently hacked to remove the region lock, I won't actually be purchasing a 3DS.

Almost nothing, the only thing that stood out was Lost Heroes. Lost heroes is the latest entry to the Konpachi Hiro Series, a RPG line by Banpresto, and features Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Gundam Character/monsters/Mechas. You can read more on andriasang.com

There were quite a number of new things, that hole in the wall/tetris sequel is coming out, and the samurai thing both look pretty cool. While the armadillo game wasn't necessarily new, it looks really fresh and it's about time they start pushing out a new mascot character/IP, rolling around like that looks really cool.

Technology these days really is amazing (apparently you can even repair punctured eyes).

Glad it connects to the web, despite being JP region...

New infos to Beyond the Labyrinth on andriasang.com

Game will be out in japan on the 19th January 2012 and priced at ¥5,800. There is more in the article, but i cannot be botherd to summaries it, besides it has some neat screens in as well.

The eshop update will bring in some new function, including DLC support; web access to eshop, so you can purchase items from PC & smartphones; software download in sleep mode and some other stuff. For NA people, Hulu will be available soon for 3ds and wii.
