In Rins' flashbacks about her father seen in Fate/stay Night his voice sounds differently in Fate Zero. Any reasons why come UFO table couldn't get the same seiyuu who voiced Rin's father in Fate/stay Night to interpret him as the master, Tohsaka Tokiomi, in Fate/Zero?

In this case I'd say it's probably more because the voice for Tokiomi in F/SN (or rather, for Rin's father, since he probably didn't even have a name then) didn't really fit the image of the character that ended up being written for F/Z. The voices for F/Z were chosen once the Sound Drama came around, and they probably didn't even consider the F/SN seiyuu (who was in what, one scene that lasted 30 seconds?), since he was cast before Tokiomi's appearance and personality were even designed, and went with their own new choice instead.
Thankfully, because Sho Hayami is perfect as Tokiomi. The F/SN anime guy sounded a little too tender IMO. |
