Last year saw some amazing animation from a lot of well known production houses.

I was wondering which anime this year have the highest production values.

I'm sorry if this seems materialistic. I watch as much anime as I can... including lots of low budget titles, however Macross Zero was worth purchasing for the beautiful backdrops alone let alone the char/mech design.

Please don't flame me for this dumb request.
