Really, there was two really great things in this chapter... the scene where Brain's staff comes alive and natsu's response is to grab it and start smacking it against the ground... and second great thing is that Ezra splash page

on the otherhand, you have to ignore the context of that shot >.<

yea best parts of the chapter.

I love the part with teh staff and Natsu, funny as hell also great little panel with Lucy, Gray and happy

and God, just gotta love Erza!

Anyone thought that Midnight's magic is similar to Index's Accelerator, except more long range?

Lots of Erza love today, the nirvana storywas typical and rather predictable, but still, the most basic things add to a good story, having just fights and no talking leads to disaster~
Midnight's skills are acceptable, not too haxed nor too weak, but...

Considering Midnight's ability, I don't Natsu could beat Midnight. Unless of course Natsu does his specialty and just breaks Nirvana.

To draw another similar comparison... Like Deep Snow from Rave, he could control 'flow', but his opponent simply regained control through some GAR power... maybe Natsu will do the same?

GAR power is a power which can deviate and manipulate the rule of the world itself, it seems

It also will gain much more power in Shonen manga world >_>

Perhaps Natsu will beat him, but I do hope for more Erza considering that she didn't do much in this arc...yet.

That's true, she didn't do much except being in a life-endangering situation... again. Maybe she won't do any serious asskicking in this arc, after all she has lot of character development and drama on her side this arc again given that Gerard returned and they somehow made up. See "her" arc (the tower of whatever, dont know) - if i remember correctly she didn't do much whipping there either because her part was to bring the drama.

I think that unlike Gray and Lucy, she won't get level ups and she will be always at her first level of badassery... and it's running out as enemies becomes stronger and stronger.

Erzas armors had an asspull vibe all the time - like there are all kinds of them just waiting for right opponent - antifire, antiice, antianti, offensive, defensive, nostagic. All kinds of armors.

Half naked Erza and Sailor Moon-esque armour Erza over many things. Funny how I thought Midnight was a girl (who vaguely reminds me of Nana O.) before. Gerard just lays there... useless. Midnight: More... I want to see more agony upon your face I didn't know that you get off on stuff like that. Page 17: Looks like Erza is moaning Cue mostly naked Erza. And then she transforms yet again, like Sailor Moon and her funny pen thing. Srsly, does she pull these out of her arse?
