I liked the Ani-O's Girl one a lot, but I liked the Garra one way better. I just felt it looked a lot cooler.

wh00t dead last according to Tzu's results...well well...guess i will have to improve for next time

although i would agree with Lord Raiden that the Gaara drawing felt a lot cooler. i think it had the right theme for the caracter Gaara.

P.S and next time we have learned that judges should be contacted before the contest

In my opinion though, I didnt really like Mistuki... the tree one... much. The Haku one was actually pretty good.

Well if anything considering that it's fan art there were maybe a few things that one should consider when judging it:

The Drawing: How is the quality of the linework? How is the composition? Does the composition work well within it's space? How is the anatomy? Does the picture contain/convey any balance, harmony, rhythm of sorts? What is the perspective like? Accuracy? Does it work as it is? How does the content relate to the subject?

The Coloring: How is the quality of the coloring? Was the color palette/scheme used effective? Was the coloring style effective and did it go well with the piece? How are the lighting effects employed? Are there any lighting effects employed at all? Are the use of highlights and shadows employed well if they have been used? How are the use of special effects? Were there any used and have been over or under used?

The overall piece: How does it look? What catches your eye? Any really big flaws? Any really good points? Does the picture fit the character? Was the character portrayed in an original way? Does the picture offer a narrative of some sort? Do the foreground, middleground, and background go well together? Is the piece actually original? Is it interesting? Did the two collaborators "mix" well together or does it look like a clash of styles?

These are questions that are normally addressed when comparing and judging art. If you are not looking to judge it in that way and then noncontestants should just get to choose their own favorite piece and explain why they like it. Everyone has their faves, heck even I do, but at the same time I think that these are issues that should be addressed when you're put in this position.

That way you never have a case of "Someone had to be last."

If you start this again I suggest you make the teams first (before posting any lineart) or you have one hell of a chaos in your hands once again =P.
