It's the PRODUCTION conference (I don't really know how to put it exactly in english.....it's the sort of conference that people tell you more about how it is made, a bit like behind the scenes....) and where did you even get the time 7pm....... If you had spent one minute using google translate to verify it you wouldn't have made a mistake there.

Still no word on when the OVA will come out. MoonPhase still says "spring 2010."
The attendance application form linked to from the site says that the event will feature director Yoshioka Shinobu, supervising editor Yamamoto Yutaka, and producer Aki Takanori (the boss of Good Smile, the figure maker), as well as possible special guest(s). (Check out the link about the producer; he sounds like an interesting guy.) I believe it says they will announce the cast, as well as "new possibilities" for the anime. That sounds a bit ominous to me, but we shall see. Maybe it just refers to more things to buy, lol. My best guess is that the DVD will come out in a couple of months, coordinated with CDs and figures.

I just checked out the pictures and noticed a certain girl with a short skirt and what seemed like two guns attached to her. No idea who that girl is.
Plus, judging from the images where Black★Gold Saw attacks Black★Rock Shooter, it seems that they are enemies first.

It's possible. They are testing if BRS will get that much of a hype as an anime series. Ordet is a relatively new animation studio and they won't be wasting their money on their first project too much. But seeing as the hype is just so huge, they might be planning on expanding the series into a 13-episode series in the future. Unfortunately, making moves with respect to hype is a double-edged sword as it would backfire if fans outnumber merchandise 10:1.

I see the same thing at a different level with Yumeiro Patissiere and Jewelpet, which are mainly there to sell toys to pre-teen girls (much as I like Yumeiro as an anime). Neither of those shows gets great TV ratings or likely will sell many DVDs, but Jewelpet is getting a second year on-air, and Yumeiro may well, too. Marcus H. makes a good point about the delicate balance between popularity and over-popularity, when it comes to selling things that are in limited supply.

Anyone follow the blog Tenka Seiha? I did. But now I don't in regards to their spring line-up, someone asked about BRS and our bloggers response was "Dream on". I don't know why, but it really pissed me off.
