The idea is to replace TV as a medium for flagship anime projects (too many non-paying viewers, broadcast slots are too expensive, etc.), so if this works out, we can expect many more series to follow a similar model.
I just had an epiphany. Maybe this is what Shaft plans to do with Negima...

Anyways, looking forward to the DVD/BD release, whenever that is.

The English Book Cover Image has been possibly leaked online: http://ranobecafe.wordpress.com/2010...-cover-leaked/

I think it's pretty good, considering who they are appealing to. What do you guys think?

I like it pretty well actually, would be nice if it was actually a cut out so you could take the slipcover off and have the original cover underneath. Doubt that but it's still a fairly good cover (although, are those supposed to be inking stamps for the title? It would be weird imagery since inking stamps are technically backwards for printing purposes...).

That's old. From December, 2009. It is only 15 minutes. I think its a prequel to the movie.

Also, does anyone know what the difference is between the two manga adaptions? If they tell the same story, which is considered better?

I know this seems a little irrelevant, but I have a question: Yen Press (the company that licensed the Bungaku Shoujo novels)'s light novels...are they hard-covered or paperback?

Paperback. Only the Haruhi Suzumiya novels had both a hardcover and paperback release.

From the figurine thread:

I haven't heard about this series before, but the can of surströmming kinda stood out for me
Does it have some significance to the plot or something?

No, the Surströmming have no impact in the plot, it just made a apperance in Konoha's first dream of the year ( a weird and funny one ) in vol5.

I was kinda angry when the translation stops but yenpress did pick it up. But then again their translation sucks and I hate them for using "book girl" as title but like I can change that thing..... well looking forward for the ova's

That 15 minute prequel is rather sweet/evocative. It was a rather intriguing bit of fun. Am looking forward to the full-length feature.

Truly enjoying the released soundtrack for the film. It's pretty much classic Hikaru Nanase from start until finish, though there's nothing wrong with that. I highly recommend people check this out.
