Speculation or not if Accelerator is supposed to play a big role like that in the game you would think he would be on the cover of the game since he would help sell it(Though Misaka alone sells the game but, eh). You know, like the other characters that will be playing a big role in the game.

Yeah that would be me But lets not forget, the OreImo PSP games were also written by their original Author and he had no problems trolling- *cough* I mean, pandering to pregnancy fetishes.

That would be pointless, why would they skip that far ahead of the manga, anime, and light novels just to appease a part of the fanbase that wants to get the girls pregnant?
Though seeing how well Touma's and Misaka's mothers aged they would still look pretty young even after a kid, but that's besides the point. |

Heh you know, we act like it's a big deal, but isn't it normal for the original author to write the script for all the mediums of his series ?

Its not normal if he writes everything and then people start saying everything is canon. Its kinda getting hard for me to track which is canon and which is not. Index is getting too big that the only things I read on the series is the main light novel. I even stop reading the manga of index and railgun. Then I played the psp game which turn crazy itself. Now this another game is being created that will surely be crazy too but I doubt that it would be canon.

As for the Railgun game I've just come to the conclusion that it's canon but of course I'm just randomly stabbing into the open air hoping that it is canon. |

... and also me being puzzled about one particular thing about CANAAN. Just because he wrote one scenario that led to CANAAN doesn't make it part of Nasuverse right...

Index PSP games pretty much was just what ifs (e.g. what if Mikoto bumped into Accelerator and Last Order randomly on the streets of Academy City) and what would've played out if those things did happen (aside from Touma's story).
Railgun PSP game is half canon like the Railgun anime 2nd half is (because Kongou). I'm pretty sure Hazamaya Kana (the girl with the bag that was also in Seventh Mist during the bombing) was shown with her hair cut in the Railgun manga (sisters arc), because she was a victim of the hair-cutting bug/lady/whatever.

As for CANAAN, attributing the show to Type-Moon was simply a marketing ploy. Spoiler for 428:
CANAAN is set after the events of 428. The show is linked to the Type-Moon piece in that it draws from the Alphard/Canaan backstory and borrows the character illustrations. However, it's otherwise an independent sequel to 428. |
