The cast performing fuwa-fuwa time with the VA's playing the instruments

Interesting that Toyosaki can't sing in Yui's voice in this vid. She, along with the other members of the band, improved quite a bit by the time of the release of the second radio special. (She can play and sound like Yui at the same time there)

Thanks for sharing this! They actually did a good job playing this. From first experience it was kind of hard to sing while playing guitar so I understand Toyosaki not singing in exactly Yui's voice but it's close to it. Still, her singing is cute in this and Hikasa's as well! It would be just excellent to see the actual video of the VA's performing this live and whatever they have played live.

I love it when they play their own instruments themselves.

The sound is still rather crude, but for a bunch of people with no musical experience (other than singing), they're improving quite nicely.

An actual performance video would be nice, though. Seen tons of pics, but I don't recall ever having seen a true live version with just the VAs.

i gauss i can understand lol good find what ever it was a good show, at least the sang pretty good, lol that is alot of people lol kinda like the new Brittney spears concerts, but she doesn't even sing, she lip sang lol, but fans dont care

After giving up on the "editing all songs so that they've got the exact same tempo"-part (resulting in the fastest and slowest songs sounding terrible) and going with the original versions, I managed to get a finished version of a medley:

My mind is a bit blurry but I read somewhere a while back that Hisaka Yoko has a bit of experience playing bass, Kotobuki Minako with piano, Sotomi Satou with drums I believe, Toyosaki Aki with some other instrument and Taketatsu Ayana with no experience whatsoever.

Unless the girls were already experts with these instruments from the get go, I don't mind if they need a little help in making it look good. I appreciate them taking effort to actually improve when they got time and it seems to be paying off.

I hope they'll do more concerts like this one, and by then, I hope the girls have progressed enough to play the songs themselves, without the need of a tape or backup band. Then again, the newer songs will probably harder to play than old ones that they have practiced on dozens of times.

I'll probably have the DVD in a few days, so I'll be guaranteed some viewing pleasure anyway.
