Happy Lesson

I used the search, couldnt find anything. so dont kill me if this was discussed.

HOw many series of this are there? i looked in animenfo and found Happy Lesson, Happy Lesson TV, Happy Lesson Advance. however on the asuki episode list by xris, it shows that there are only 2 series. ON the interent elsewhere it also doesnt show any sign of the frst 3 ep OVA that animenfo claims exists. any help?

Happy Lesson OAV does exist. I watched it.

Here is the entry in AnimeSuki License list:
Happy Lesson (TV and OVA)
Licensed by ADV Films as announced at Anime Central 2003

ADV makes no mention of the titles on its own site yet.

The OVA eps were somewhat of a preview for the TV series. So the first TV eps, which came out later on, are virtually the same as the OVA eps and continue on from there. The biggest difference was the opening (much, much better in OVA IMHO).

The ed theme for the tv series was great though. Tokyo Lite I think it was called.

OVA ep 1 and tv ep 1 are exactly the same except the ova is longer and offer a bit more detail into some things that happen...but OVA ep 2 and 3 are eps used to introduce 2 char's that the tv eps kinda throw in without as much explanation as the ova eps...since the tv and ova have been licensed they're gonna be hard to find especially the ova's...those are the hardest to find...but happy lesson advanced i dont think has been licensed yet so you can find it on the suki series page....

First DVD will be out in February, with the date for the next also known:
http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/d...views/2764.php
http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/d...views/2777.php

I'm not quite sure however how ADV will release the OVA or TV.
Both discs above seem to contain 5 episodes each, judging from the running time.

Wow what an old thread to ressurrect.

OVA (Intro, Hazuki, Minazuki)
TV Series (SKIP over episode 1 - it's a retread)
Advanced TV Series (Introduces a new character)
Final TV Series (And yes it ends ... very rare in a harem anime).

How many episodes are in the first OVA? ANN lists it as 5 eps, but everyone else says 3 eps.

happy lesson advanced has 13 episodes.

happy lesson the final ova has 3 episodes.

the first series im not too sure, adv kind of mushed them all into one package. they released a thin pack of it recently i think.

the last 3 oVas are good to watch. but just the very end, it could have been avoided, should have been avoided. if you watched this series and are a fan you know how it should have ended. either a him and the antagonist or a 3 some with the sister. LOL

I have the OVA, it's 3 episodes. The intro, the Hazuki introduction and the Minazuki introduction (Both are NOT in the TV series).

The OAV (the original one that introduced the characters) had 5 episodes

for some odd reason only up to 3 was fansubbed and also released in the US

i remember checking a long time ago at the japanese site and they had it for sale (4 and 5) but it struck me odd why no fansubbers subbed it or why the US release didnt have it

Best comedy anime ever.

I have been doing alot of searching of late foe good anime, and I have come across the best comedy anime ever. It's called Happy Lesson, sure at times they got serious but not alot. All in all it made me laugh so hard it was almost rediculous, but I think it was honestly that funny. There is a completre collection out there now as well with everything in it at a very good price.
