Love the blue BOC one it's pretty damn Lush, and the AE one turned out better than expected. When the new BOC album comes out in June, I'll get two more new shirts.

New computers for graduation presents... Both I and my sister is getting a Masters Degree

2012 Macbook Pro Non-retina (my computer)

Intel i7 Quad Core at 2.6 GHz, 16 GBs of RAM, 750GB 7200 RPM HD, nVidia GT 650m with 1GB VRAM and a High Res Anti-glare machine... It's about 2x faster than my old computer and is pretty fast with a 1271 on Novabench and 13737 3DMarks in 3DMark06. Runs OS X Mountain Lion and Windows 8 Pro with Start8

My Sister's Dell Precision

I only trust business machines as most of our consumer laptops died within 2 years of heavy use and since my sister is an Engineering major, pro graphics will run better for her stuff... but still pretty good gaming performance.
Specs: Intel Core i7 Quad Core 2.7 GHz, 1TB 5200 RPM HD, nVidia Quadro K2000m with 2GB VRam, 16 GB of RAM, 1080p Ultrasharp LCD Screen. Runs Windows 7 Professional

Both are Ivy Bridge, but I'm impressed how powerful laptops are getting as I can't imagine a quad core running in a laptop in 2008 or 2009. Both laptops ran about $2k and should last for 5 years.

Love the clean lines of the Dell Precision. It's very sexy in a no-nonsense sort of way.

I still love my ugly old Thinkpad. It's very unsexy, but it's essentially invulnerable and the keyboard is fan-fucking-tastic. Note this is a 2009 Thinkpad X200, not one of the newer Thinkpads with the (decidedly much worse) chiclet keyboards.

No, I got the real deal, the old-school Thinkpad keyboard with the blue enter key.

Some of those Dells are built like tanks. I still love my old Sony Vaio for exactly that reason: the damn thing is built like a tank. 6 years old and still running mostly like a champ (sure it did get a new battery last year and the screen is starting to get stained).

Well, I for one took advantage of a 3 for the price of 2 deal at a local retailer and got a few new games:

New camera, which I will be sharing with my sister. I decided on the S110 because of it's image quality and wireless capabilities as I can transfer the pics to my iPhone and upload them on Twitter or something.

Doing an overnight backing with about 10 friends in the San Gorgonio Mountains north of Yucaipa, California. This is just one of several pieces of gear that I needed to pick up. The tent alone was only about $100 and it's a 2-person tent, the Camp Dome 2 from REI. I think overall I spent about 400, I still need to pick up a water filter and a sleeping bag, but majority of the gear I bought is mediocre. The higher end gear is way too expensive Q_Q

New TV and theatre system.

Sony Bravia 50" 3D LCD TV and Sony 5.1 Surround with wireless rear left and right speakers.

Most impressive of all is the theatre system plays MKV files so I've been able to wirelessly network it to my server and just stream anime on the big screen.

Excellent.
