A near-final draft of the curriculum shows that it comes in different flavors for every

Apparently, they figured out that brainwashing teenagers and adults isn't working for them, so they decide to brainwash children now. I guess they're really getting desperate.

Not that I think it will help them, as piracy is still going on as we speak and physical music sales are still decreasing (even with piracy seemingly going down).

Yes, absolutely!

The greens are much more than just environment and they don't have to prove it because they already have been in the federal government in the past plus they are in several state governments right now.

Eh. I read the comments. It seems to be working anyway.

(I know, I know. I shouldn't read the comments.)

What for? Bilateral trade ties are pretty good, both sides didn't like China much, and their elites think that the rest of East Asia (especially to the South), are second-rate, genetically inferior, human beings; with so many similarities, it is hard to see why they would have that kind of enemity.

You are making them sound like a pair of fraternal princessy tsundere lolis who constantly bicker with each other, and that chuugoku-jiisan is a huge pedophile looking to trepidiate on them.

HuffPo's lifestyle sites surpass news: Lyne (8:24)

Quote:
The Huffington Post drew more viewers to subjects like food, fashion, and celebrity than to news for the first time in September, said Susan Lyne, CEO of AOL's brand group. Lyne also said AOL's recent cutbacks in its Patch news network have brought down costs without cutting those sites' performances.

I can say with about 95% certainty that uncontrollable delusions are, in fact, unhealthy.

If there's disagreement between 2 countries, it's the fanatical nationalists who bitch the loudest at each others, even though they are both nationalists.

To answer the 1st question, I think it stems from an island dispute. (though since only half of the japanese actually cares about Senkaku, I imagine even less care about the dispute with the Koreans) And since Japan's economy was not doing so well a while ago, it's not atypical for the far-right to lay some blame onto immigrants/foreigners, just like what's happening to Greece right now.

Russia files piracy charges against Greenpeace:

"Russian investigators said Tuesday that they will file piracy charges against
Greenpeace activists who tried to climb onto an offshore drilling platform in the Arctic
owned by the state-controlled gas company Gazprom.

The activists are on a Greenpeace ship, the Arctic Sunrise, that was seized last
week by the Russian Coast Guard and towed Tuesday into a port near Murmansk.

It was unclear how many of the 30 activists from 18 countries face piracy charges,
which carry a potential prison sentence of up to 15 years and a fine of 500,000
rubles (about $15,500). The Investigative Committee, Russia's federal investigative
agency, said it would question all those who participated in the protest and detain
the "more active" among them."

Why don't they just leave everything to the Russian Marines.

Oh, actual piracy. For a moment I was thinking 'they're hippies, of course they're pirating everything!'

The golden age of activism and optimism is long gone. I guess this is a case of do not go gentle.
