I never liked Cagalli, but she's nothing like Ranka. I'm not getting the comparison. Ranka is a special snowflake, I wouldn't compare her to anyone else. Cagalli never once said Athrun save me~ In fact she tried to do things herself, even if it was stupid to do it. I respect that at least. She had it rough. Leave her alone.

The directors wife was the writer for SEED/Destiny. Her handing in scripts late is the reason for so many recap episodes in Destiny.. the chief animator was bitching about her in his blog and promised to redeem himself in Mai Otome lol...

Well I can guess at two things:

1)Her look--That is a major factor lol and in my opinion she looks a bit better than the main heroine... (ok guys stop throwing me tomatoes XD)

2)Maybe ppl read the novel-->00f and it helps

3)Feldt doesn't do much, but she does quite a lot compared to the main heroine...
