I always thought May'n's Sheryl voice was her "own" style. I listened to her song "Cry A Little" that was before Macross F and it had her Sheryl style.

Hmmm I still prefer Chie Kajiura, Mylene's singing voice for Totsugeki Love Heart.

As Fire Bomber, Mylene's voice provides soft suppleness that complements with Basara's wild powerful voice.

May'n's powerful voice doesn't complement as well, but she would definitely be able to do Heart and Soul, it would sound wonderful.

「キミシニタモウコトナカレ」
疾走感溢れるロックチューン！詞にはすごく起承転結があるけれど、男らしい強さを出したかったので、歌は最 初から最後まで、あまり抑揚をつけず強いままで歌いました。

「M-Revolution」
キラキラしたサウンドに強い意志を感じる詞をのせ、「キミシニタモウコトナカレ」で戦い歌う女の子の、日常 の素の部分を描きました。「キミシニタモウコトナカレ」と「M-Revolution」は、2つ合わせて一つの作品です。ちなみに、「M-Revolution」の“M”とは、“My（みんな）”と “May’n（私）”を意味します。私にとっての革命は、明るく前向きな歌詞を書けたことかな（ 笑）
※ May’nは日頃より、自作詞では何故だか暗い歌詞ばかりになってしまうと話している。

That's exactly why I liked this version better: I'd rather have two powerful voices "dueling" than a mild complementary number.

And mad props to Westlo for bringing us the awesome. That anime seems very interesting, if I may say so... too bad I can't rep ya.
