Celebrating the 1000th battle of my StuG:

It's been a tough ride, but as long as I keep playing WoT, the journey of the StuG shall continue.

Researched the Königstiger. Now to focus on the VK3002DB and Panther.

You are a masochist. Opening up the other side of the VK tree (to the Tiger P) is a chore enough on its own. Ditto for the last engine on the KN 3601 (H)... Hmm, which modules carrt over to the Tiger anyway?

That's the plan. While I'll probably stop at the Königstiger or E-75 for the Tiger line, I intend to go all the way for the Panther line.

I thought the same. The T10 German tanks seem too situational and reliant on good teamwork for me. They have good armor but enemy TDs and certainly arty can damage them quite easily.

I'll be repurchasing the DB at some point to pre-grind for the Indienpanzer.

I will be stopping at the E-75 for the Henschel line; as LeoXiao said, the T10 German heavies are just unsuitable for the current metagame, and outclassed by the T10 heavies of most other lines. In any case, the E-75 is basically a Tiger II on steroids, and though it's a T9, it has the armour and gun to go toe-to-toe with T10s, at least from my limited experience with it thus far. Also planning to go all the way with the Panther line, and will also be buying back the DB at some point to work down the future Leopard I line.

I'm planning to go all the way down the Porsche line though, despite everything I said; the Maus may be as outdated in the current metagame as the E-100, but it'll make for a great collector's item.

They've changed the way tech tree focuses work now, no more discounts. Just more income, I believe. The USSR focus last week had only income increases as well.

Managed to get my third mastery badge for the T-34. With my T1 HT the crew are all at 100% and elite status. Not sure if I will get the M6, it seems basically the same tank with weaker turret armour, bigger gun and higher tier opponents...

Also a question regarding the assault map mode is that map mode tied to having a premium account at some point? Because I never seem to get that map mode until I used the Saint Nicolas bonus code and now I get it fairly often. Or is it simply RNG being screwed up.

Just got the upgraded 100mm gun for my SU100M1. Despite there being no difference in damage and penetration, the accuracy, rof, and aim time have all been greatly improved which finally makes this tank playable as a good sniper.

So.. I think I've finally given up on playing the StuG. After achieving a piddling .. 37% win rate (which is partially due to starting at 50% crew) I think I'm going to retire from the TD line, at least for now, I just don't think it suits my playstyle..

That said, I almost have the XP on the Tiger P to research the Tiger .. which makes me wonder? 4502A or Tiger->Tiger II? Hmmm....
