Yeah, just a minor correction... Stargazer was released as an ONA (Original Net animation) with 15 minute episodes, then released as one 45 minute episode on DVD. So it was never a movie.

Well, there are such things as direct-to-DVD (or other mediums) movies. I'm not really sure what the distinction is between what is or isn't a movie.

In anime terms, a movie is released directly to theaters (ie a feature film). OVAs are released directly to video/DVD.

Those were first released in movie theaters, hence were movies.

Ah, interesting. Is this just for anime or for the general Japanese media?

As far as I know... Only anime would use the term OVA. Not sure what a live action direct to video would be called.

The Japanese word for movies, 映画 (lit. projected pictures) definitely refers to a theatrical film though.

1) Am i missing anything if i watch the Zeta new translation movies instead of the original zeta series?

2A) Has there ever been a female mc to pilot a gundam or is it always a guy?

2B) What other females have piloted a gundam besides Cagalli and Lunamaria?

3A) So UC is the main timeline, so are FC, AC, AD, AW, CC, CE, and now RC all alternate timelines?

3B) Or are is it just debated on how each relates to UC?

1.) Yes, you’ll miss quite some materials, not to mention a bleaker ending compared to Translation Movies.
2A.) Christina MacKenzie piloted the main Gundam (codename: Gundam Alex) in Gundam 0080 OVA. But the thing is, she’s not the main character. The main character is a little boy name Alfred in which the story is viewed from. Christina is more like a secondary MC together with Bernie.
2B.) Quite a lot. Just to mention a few: Emma Sheen (Zeta), Rou Louka (ZZ), Marbet Fingerhat (Victory), Lady Une (only once in Wing), Selene MacGriff (Stargazer), Nena Trinity (00), and more. That’s not including side materials like mangas, novels, games, etc.
3A.) Yes, that's pretty much the case as far as Sunrise is concerned IIRC.
3B.) IIRC So far the debatable ones are CC & FC which some argue that those can be the far future of UC.

According to the Gundam.info archives, CC is the future of all Gundam timelines, 10s of thousands of years after UC. That's of course disputed, and even Sunrise's explanation of it, and the time frames, have changed throughout the years. And while Seed in some ways tried to reference the Turn A theory, 00, AGE and BF have ignored it.

And RC is officially confirmed to be the timeline after UC

Ah, that's right! I forgot that RC is Reguild Century. For some reason, I thought RC is GBF's timeline .

Gundam Build Fighter is a mix of the timelines, in terms of mobile weapons. It will not have a timeline per se, just be a different universe.

I'm not particularly versed in the gundam universe so do excuse what I say if they are completely wrong.

Anyway, from what I searched, there are antagonists that turned good like Char Aznable and Zechs Marquise. (I just skimmed info about them and I came to this conclusion )

So, my question is are there characters that is the opposite. Protagonists that turned evil? If there are, who are they?

Like you said, plenty of characters turn good but those who turn heel are also pretty common.

Just off the top of my head -
Zeta - Reccoa
CCA - Quess
Victory - Katejina
G - Ulube, Rain's dad
Turn A - Guin Lineford
Seed Destiny - everybody in ZAFT is "bad" in the end (puts up flame shield)
00 - Anew Returner
AGE - Shanalua, Zeheart

And Char doesn't really turn "good"

Well that would be spoilers but for main protagonists.

Spoiler for spoilers:

SEED and Destiny arguably don't have protagonists "turning" evil.

The same thing with Zeheart in AGE, arguably. (He was not a protagonist and he's always stuck with his side.)

The crew of the Albion I can't really say turning evil. (who knows what happened between 0083 and 0087)

And Char never turned during a show, but I guess he "turned" within the timeline.

As for the other others that have been suggested ... I can't recall.

monster, most of the Albion's crew joined the Titans. The Immortal 4th's survivors are seen looking at their brand new GM Quels being delivered to them.

And that's all we saw. So unless there is mention of what they did after joining the Titans, I can't say they've turned evil.

Zeta, Ecole du Ciel and the Advance of Zeta sidestories give us plenty of data to draw our own inferences. *shrug*

Maybe on the group as a whole, but not necessarily on those specific 0083 characters.
